Congratulations to all of our Hulkaggeddon pilots this year!
The slaughter continues to be epic and past all of our expectations. The Apocalypse Legion is proud to begin presenting each brave pilot with 1m isk for each exhumer kill(Hulk, Mackinaw) registered to his name.
Special appreciation given to Shar Tegral who has helped parse the database for us to generate a list of these individuals. So far we have kill-mails 1-2000 processed and sorted. Here's hoping you fly dangerously this weekend and add a few more!
Statistics (pending)
As you can imagine this will be a lengthy process and we will keep you updated on our current progress in this thread. If we have missed your kills (for instance if you have a character named thorn rocket, serpentis defender etc) please feel free to message Ender2006 with the kill-mail details.

1m for each killmail you appear on [participated kill] (or until iskies run out if everyone in eve decided to jump on one killmail :-P)

Sweet & awesome :)
May I suggest you start handing out isk to participants using the West-Babylonian alphabet which starts with the letter 'R'?

I truly was my pleasure to assist. For those who can't wait for the "official" reports here's links to the parsed out data (Google Docs): Killer List 1 - 1000Killer List 1001 - 1980Killer List 1980 - 2694And to cap it off: Killed List(Yes, the lists aren't pretty and there's some spots where I did some data and others where I didn't. The prime data is tracked and consistency maintained. I do worry about 1082 though. I'm just mentioning it here so that Ender can look at it and decide.)

I laik, Shar. Great work. I wonder why you are so supportive of hulkamaganking gameplay though, knowing you are an M&D forum tycoon ... You can has a little arty/tempest/smartbomb/hulk/mackinaw factory tucked away somewhere? :) I agree with everything Barakkus posts. |

Nope, not profiting from the hulkaganking at all. I just like being supportive of player initiatives. Granted, gankage is not my style but just because I don't do it doesn't mean it is something that should not be done. Actually, I've been doing some simple statistics on the data. I was going to do things like Top 10 lists or some such. Would you believe that I had to expand "Killed By Corp" to Top 25 so that I could get something other than NPC corp in the list? By far, by very very very far, most of the exhumers taken down were in NPC corporations. I'll have some numbers on that but it is quite telling. I never thought I would say this but from the numbers I have come to believe that Hulkageddon serves a vital interest in Eve. Beyond griefing that is. I'm a firm believer that no place is totally safe nor should it be. (Note: I've never hid in an NPC corporation and I'm not well liked.) Whether the exhumer pilots appreciate it they've gotten to taste some of the "other" parts of Eve that they have been hiding from. In that light, Hulkageddon is not a bad thing. Not a bad thing at all.

Originally by: Shar Tegral Actually, I've been doing some simple statistics on the data.
There's the data and the numbers is simply number of victims in each category. Also I sit corrected: Less NPC players killed overall however the number of Player corp victims is spread out over dozens(!) of corporations. (So yeah, most of them hide in NPC corps.) PS: Caveat - Because of advertising some pilots may have just taken the week off. So the data could be giving some false positives.

LMAO - Social Welfare Programs for GANKERS!!!
THIS IS HYSTERICAL... EPIC FAIL.
So a few people pay out (from their personal and often Macro-miner/CC-PLEX accounts) into the coffers of the poor-of-EVE, the lowely ganker/pirate that never makes ISK.

Can only agree with your perspectives. Too bad we can only guess the % of bots ganked. I think around it was a third of my own modest number of ganks. Also gratz on the hate post :) ^^ I agree with everything Barakkus posts. |

Thank you very much. This is what makes Eve truly epic. Unlike Valentina what's her sour puss ^ up there that will never ever get the true spirit of the game.
Not for isk, nor for fame Just the lawlz, and enjoying the game If you can't hack, pack your sack and head back to WoW... Now

Edited by: Ender2006 on 21/07/2010 23:30:25 ha, yes, he's the only one so far whose killmails exceeded the character limit of the new email system! And that's without tallying the damage from the last few days I still have to work through. We actually saw him flying around in his blinky pod while we were camping some gates around mateber during the event and I told the corp mates to leave him alone so he could be about his slaughter
PS. you didn't do so poorly yourself :-P

Didn't Phil kill something like 241 Exhumers? Is there an extra stipulation on getting payed, as he only got 99m ISK?

Not at all. This was only the payout for killmails 1-1980 though. There will be another round of payouts for killmails 1981-end. When we got started with this batch that's all the info we had at the time. If the numbers still seem off at the end I'll double check the data import to make sure we didn't miss anything. I suspect though that the people that killed a lot at the start increased their killrate as the event went on while the casual players slowed or stopped.
