Congratulations to all of our Hulkaggeddon pilots this year!
The slaughter continues to be epic and past all of our expectations. The Apocalypse Legion is proud to begin presenting each brave pilot with 1m isk for each exhumer kill(Hulk, Mackinaw) registered to his name.
Special appreciation given to Shar Tegral who has helped parse the database for us to generate a list of these individuals. So far we have kill-mails 1-2000 processed and sorted. Here's hoping you fly dangerously this weekend and add a few more!
Statistics (pending)
As you can imagine this will be a lengthy process and we will keep you updated on our current progress in this thread. If we have missed your kills (for instance if you have a character named thorn rocket, serpentis defender etc) please feel free to message Ender2006 with the kill-mail details.

1m for each killmail you appear on [participated kill] (or until iskies run out if everyone in eve decided to jump on one killmail :-P)

Hehe, could this be my first lovely troll/hate mail? I thought that was Shar's job when I ask for investments :-P

Edited by: Ender2006 on 21/07/2010 23:30:25 ha, yes, he's the only one so far whose killmails exceeded the character limit of the new email system! And that's without tallying the damage from the last few days I still have to work through. We actually saw him flying around in his blinky pod while we were camping some gates around mateber during the event and I told the corp mates to leave him alone so he could be about his slaughter
PS. you didn't do so poorly yourself :-P

Not at all. This was only the payout for killmails 1-1980 though. There will be another round of payouts for killmails 1981-end. When we got started with this batch that's all the info we had at the time. If the numbers still seem off at the end I'll double check the data import to make sure we didn't miss anything. I suspect though that the people that killed a lot at the start increased their killrate as the event went on while the casual players slowed or stopped.

Haha, I'm in the exact same boat Helicity. My sec status remained much too high once I realized the scope of the reward initiative.
I know when we first discussed this we wagered total prize value would be 800m-1500m. I'm happy to say we drastically underestimated the enthusiasm of our pirate playerbase!
I felt it was important to reward and encourage all those that participated. I never guessed that Phil would be such a beast either, so its nice to send bounties to some of these individuals that might otherwise have missed out on prize recognition that they were working towards them with such dedication.
Some amusing observations from my side of it:
- gratitude has no relation to reward size
pilots with 1m isk rewards were just as likely to send funny emails and thanks as those that received 20m+. Got some great emails from those players like Darkstorm and Phil as well though
- some awesome pilot names were discovered such as Col Ostomy and the Veldspar Guardian; Veldspar Defender; and Veldspar Protector trio. TOo many to mention but it was fun seeing them as we were sending out stuff.
- Hulkageddon killmails are a great way to hunt wartarget activity regions

Thanks again for all your organizational work and letting us take part. Love to see player sponsored events and look forward to round 4.
