FDIC Agent	Posted - 2010.07.17 10:31:00 - [1] With the last 18 months showing no real fixes in the game. A game in which every major feature has game breaking issues. And with the recent publication of the CSM meeting minutes with CCP stating they will not be fixing anything for another 18 months, it is painfully clear this game has run its course. Been playing for over 5 years now and to endure a year and a half more of the major issues not being fixed, it makes no since to pay for frustration. I will check back every now in then to see if things finally get fixed, and maybe, if I am still interested in serious internet spaceships I will start tossing my money at CCP again. CCP, good luck. I hope your gamble pays off. I look forward to the day when my money is spent on having fun with internet spaceships again.

After five years of playing the game do you really have so little "emotional" attachment to the game, namely flying with/against people you've known since week 1? It shouldn't be the broken mechanics that drive people away from Eve, especially after years, but real life circumstances or being tired of the same fleets and political shenanigans. I only played WoW for 3 months before getting bored however i didn't even ding the top level or explore much of the pvp stuff other than a few battlezones. Say what like about WoW, at least blizzard has polished the game to hell :P

On the surface it looks ominous but I hope it isn't as bad as it looks, obviously from the outside looking in there's a lot we're not privvy to, I've been critical of CCP as much as most in my time but I would advise people to suck it and see.
