I'd like to suggest a skill and possible modules for several ships to collect your fleet in subspace as to arrive at the scene at the exact same time. This would take away some gatecamping as the fleet would be neither here nor there and not be able to attack ships passing them in subspace.

How about a fleet C3(Command, Control, Communicate) module that could be fitted to some ships to act as a flagship?
Say it can only be fitted to tier 2 battleships, because only they have the extensive comms gear required to datalink with the rest of the fleet. Then the pilot of that ship commands the fleet, can task certain parts with objectives that appear on their huds, and can forcably assemble the ships into a formation for controlled-arrival warping. This way you could configure a warp profile that has the smaller ships arriving first, and in front, followed closely by the bigger battleships just behind. The support ships in the far rear where its safe, would arrive a minute or so after the others. All this could be done by controlling the speed and ship alignment during warp, which would be handled by the fleet C3 module by using either prepackaged fleet formations or ones made "on the fly" by the commander.

That's a great idea. Would hate to have to code it though. And can you imagine the lag........ ----------------------------------------------- "I am watching you through a camera" - Artie Ziff

Allowing people to warp to a gate at 500km would allow a Fleet to approach an enemy fleet using normal drives.
This would allow more smooth loading of the enemy fleet and it would look cool ---------------------------

Yet it would be that much cooler to be able to get a glimpse of a fleet in subspace as you pass them by, or miss that flash and be in for a rude awakening.

Or you could just find a commander who can do that now instead of the brain-dead dumbass that you seem to have. Taking player skill out and replacing it with XXX Skill Points is stupid.
