Tvol would be an exellent addition to my main with a whooping 20 mil sp ....... Been playing a while and feel that i can never do what i want. skills take ages imo.
I would use Tvol to defend myself and living place, and attack hostile scums :) And i always wanted to have big lasers(hate myself for training caldari for to long time)

Hey mate. Im kind of new to this game, in other words, i havent experienced all the aspects of this game yet. With this char i will be able to. I have read tons and tons of stuff about Eve, so i might be able to pull this off. I intend to try out some more difficult missions, lvl 4-5. Would try to get in to a corp where i could do some pvp, as the roles your character opens up for. Explorations is definetly one thing i would look into with this Char.
Good luck picking the right candidate

Edited by: Magic FairyCakes on 22/07/2010 09:12:30 Hi Tvol I have been playing Eve for about a year now, I've come to love this game although it is at times a bit daunting. I would ask are you sure you are doing the right thing in giving your character away? It is something I have done in other game in the past then regretted it later (game was EQ1) when I couldn't find any better game to play(until now of course).
I would of course love to own this character as would most people in the game, if on the chance you would choose me to receive this character, two things I would promise you is:- I would promise to nurture Tvol and keep his training up to a high standard, and to make sure he stays a respected member of the Eve community. I would also promise that I would only look on Tvol as a character on loan to me, so that if at any time in the future you should want to return to the game I would gratefully pay to have him returned to your account.
With that, good luck in finding a worthy recipient for Tvol, and have fun in what ever it is you are going to be moving onto. Toodlepips

This post has taken an unexpected turn. I try to give tvol away and now I have people contacting me in game and through email wanting to buy him. I didnĘt expect that. I wish Eve had a RL charity that I could give him and his ISK to. I didnĘt expect so many good responsesą

Hello tvol,
in contrary to the of the majority of the posts, who will use you as a second main or even an alt, you will be my main character to play with .

Hmm... I'd definitely use the ISK to expand my current business ventures in EVE. I'd only be able to use him for a month or two though. Military life, eh? Before I leave I'd give him to someone else for 1 ISK and keep the tradition going. Then when I'm tired with this character in a few years I'd do the same thing.

Mate, honestly, i would advise you to either just keep him, or perhaps donate his assets to eve university or so. If you really want to give him away, look to what people would do with him, and if its in line with your own gameplay, like pirate, carebear or whatever. Probably people would offer real life cash for your character aswell, but you would have to decide yourself if its worth the risk, because it is against the TOS and thus illegal...

not sure if it's legit with the EULA or not, but if you give me the char, i'll donate a few bucks to a charity of your choice. :D

I have been playing the game off and on for a few years. My toon hasn't been trained much as a result. I would spend time just mining and reading a book. Then I got blasted one day running to pick up a new ship part I bought and podded after that. The idea of spending 6 or more months just to train the skills I am lacking to just be able to live 1 blast longer is something that would lower my enjoyment of the game due to being blasted by someone else. It was then I realised I needed a better trained pilot to actually enjoy the game more by being able to defend myself. So I come to the boards to see what pilots people are selling and find I am under par even here given the costs of other pilots with good skill trainings. Then I found your posting.
If you give him to me I will use him well in fighting to defend myself instead of being a pew pew thank you for the pod kill count. I will continue to train him hard and well to continue to be a mean buttkicking machine he can be. I would like to give as good as I get for once.

I have a friend that is just starting out, and is really in to pvp. I would give it to him for a birth day present(Augest 31), and if he ever stopped playing eve i would make him keep the tradition and give away this account.
I know this is just a shot in the dark, but I know he would love it. :)

Edited by: Makthrraaa on 22/07/2010 11:02:19 EVE is about many things to many people. Either a show of power, leading your own personal Empire, helping others, or helping yourself. It looks to me as though tvol is useful for all of the above.
tvol is clearly a well skilled character, and it's my belief that others, not just the owner of the character, can benefit from the skills and experience behind tvol. Should I be "awarded" the purchase of tvol, I would spend the time and money necessary to fund projects, within EVE, to help new players in the PVP aspect of EVE. In my personal opinion, PVP has dried up recently in EVE, with most of the focus being left to a few, large fleet fights between some of the bigger alliances in EVE. Apart from RvB and FW, there are few ways for newcomers to EVE to get involved with PVP.
Should you have any lasting desires for tvol's use, then I would be happy to see out your vision for tvol's use whilst I were to be in posession of the character. In addition, should I ever "finish" my time with tvol in a similar fashion to yourself, I would also pass on the character to somebody else deserving. tvol's time in EVE has clearly been an adventure, heavily focussing on low-sec space and piracy. I have been looking for some time to be involved with Piracy, and tvol seems like the ideal opportunity: to start this theme and continue with it, based on tvol's history. As a known associate of Inglorious-Basterds, tvol clearly has some good friends, and it'd be a shame to allow those friends to part from what is clearly a valueable and skilled character.
Should you have any questions regarding the above, please feel free to EVE-Mail me or convo me, and I will happily answer your questions.
Regards, Makthrraaa

I think you should sell him to me because I hate Amarr. Seeing as the character is trained up in Amarr ships, I'd repeatedly pod him until all his Amarr skills are gone. At that point, I'd begin training up his Minmatar skills and turn him into a nano*** Vagabond pilot. I'd then use said character to repeatedly slap your Amarr overlords with a trout.

Wow. I can imagine the love you have for this character that you wish to pass it onto someone deserving, rather than the one with the most isk.. Coming from a roleplaying background, I can appreciate this.
Myself, I have been playing on and off for a couple of years, though due to buying a house, was unable to play for a while, so have racked up a measely 13ish mil skill points. Along with a few friends, we have our own little corp, and are hoping to be able to move into some pvp. However, none of us really have the skills to bother with any real pvp. We're fairly focused on indy, and our pvp related skills are slowly rising. Having a fantastic character like Tvol in our group would really ease the transition, both as a guideline for the others to focus their skills, and for myself, to keep my interest piqued.
My present character is able to fly up to HACs, and will soon be able to fly a command ship, though I lack a lot of the support skills at the moment. While I blame the pure sex appeal of command ships for my omission... It still leaves me a long ways off, regardless of what ship I'm flying.
I would still keep Lertan, and train him in the background, play him when I have any indy stuff needing done, etc, Tvol would become my main until Lertan can compete.
At that point, I'd probably transfer Tvol to a second account, and have both flying together.
Regardless of who you give him too, I hope he goes to a good home.
Good Luck Tvol!

as you can see, my first character creation has a rather poo name. creating characters whilst drunk isn't good. since i have started playing eve, i have stopped drinking and given up all my bad habits, although, my characters name is starting to depress me and i am thinking about going back to the drink and drugs. if i had a new character with a cool name, i think this might sway me away from the drugs and alcohol and help me to become the sort of person i should have been in the first place... thanks for helping in my life :)

I believe I should be the right person for this character because I only started playing EVE 5 months ago and wanted to PVP straight away. I always knew I would be playing catch up SP wise but was willing to accept that. What I didn't know was that I would always be primaried because of my name is almost all the time, at the top of the overview and that I fly Minmatar ships. To be frank, it is getting a bit disheartening and I am not enjoying it as much as I would like. I would use your character to carry on PVP'ing in ships other than fast tackle and hopefully experience the joy of pvp'ing a little bit more.

I should get this character for a couple of reasons. The first being that I'm not going to bull**** you about how I'm going to use it. I plan on using him to kill ****, as much as I possibly can. How that will happen I don't know quite yet, but that is the plan. He won't be sitting in a station or carebearing it up somewhere, he will be creating carnage somewhere. I can also tell you that I will know how to use him and I wont get a bunch of lame losses because I didn't know how to fit a bs before roaming around null.

I don't know if your reading this man, but I just got corp theieved by a once good friend and lost roughly like 3 billion isk. I have another friend with me who lost his loki in it all. He lives paycheck to paycheck. Im talking like 80 bucks left over a month and he used his months pay to get 4 plexs which is 70 bucks. So we just got ****ed. Luckily i saved my pos tower. Hey man i am totally asking for your sympathy but meh. I may quit eve over this myself. I have spent over 1250 bucks on this game so far and havnt really gotten anywhere. I just dont know what to do anymore. hell man, i would be glad just to get a 100mill at this point. SO now i have to burn my ass off to make enuff isk for my friends loki cuz i always try to get ppul payed back in full. its just who i am. infact we just lost all our **** all of about 2 hours ago. Right when you think you are looking like you have accomplished soemthing in EVE it back stabs you and steals all your cookies. Wierd thing actually. I woke up about an hour and a half b4 down time and sat in bed just chilling then i had this wierd ass feeling. So i got on EVE and my corpy was stealing everything. I almost balled my head off seeinga as i put RL iksies into that thing. Its like watching ur whole life get sucked away. I dont have a job or anything but I try to play eve plex to plex and the last bit of my money was tossed into that pos. it was in a nice c2 and we were making a deent amount of iskies but now im left with an Ares and about 90mill. So i dunno wat im gonan do at this point. Sorry about my wall of text, but im just looking for some financial help to keep playing eve. BTW nice toon and whoever gets that is one lucky guy.

I am new to the game, only a few weeks old. I love the game and wish I had found it sooner. Unfortunately there is a sharp learning curve on this game, and with the lack of skills I am not able to see what it fully has to offer. If I had a trained character, I would explore those options and figure out what I liked.

I recently 'won' a Dominix in the wonderful CAS mystery box giveaway... however I don't have the skills to fly it, or fit it properly.
Giving me your character would enable be to jump straight into my lovely Free Domi instead of spending the next several months having it sat in my hangar taunting me :D

If you're looking for a charity I think Eve University would probably be the closest thing to that in Eve. They'd probably use the ISK to help buy newbies ships and skill books and use him to help them make more ISK and defend the University when it gets war-dec'd. Heck maybe they'd give him to some promising graduate or something like that.
Personally I'd like him because I had the opportunity to start playing Eve over four years ago but decided not to because I was in High School and couldn't afford the money. Then a year ago I did the trial but didn't have the time to keep going. So I have three years of skills planned out and I'm kicking myself a bit for not starting four years ago even though I know it's not feasible.
I'd use Tvol to make money and learn the game better while my main trains up. I wouldn't use him exclusively by any means but he would be an introduction to a part of the game I'd never touch otherwise since this guy is going pure Caldari and shield tanking skills where at Tvol uses armor tank, mainly Amarr ships, and he's trained with lasers and ballistics.
I would also be using him to help crush Sansha's nation and put a stop to the recent raids. I'd never use him to go play pirate in low sec I'd either be in high sec running missions or helping people out or in null sec with a few friends doing fleet ops.

I believe I would be a good candidate to receive tvol, because I have delved in several different career choices in eve (industry, manufacturing, PvP, ect.), but haven't really found a niche that I can truly say I enjoy. This versatility, while nice, has kept me from truly enjoying this game. I think tvol would be a breath of fresh air to my Eve experience, and force me (in a good way) to specialize on a narrower track than the one I've been following.
If I were chosen to carry on the existence of tvol, I would like to use his very solid base in PvP to branch out to use other race's ships (plus faction ships), before going for capital ships. I'm in love with Amarr ships, but I would I would like to experience a different style of PvP with Matari or Gallente ships. I do not intend to use him to grief or for piratical uses, since although they are legitimate within the bounds of the game, it's not my cup of tea.
In any case, I wish you all the best in your endeavors AE (After Eve), and hope tvol finds a good owner if I am not chosen.

I'd love to play with this toon to combine him with my main. This main is focused on bs and above so to get into anything smaller would take a lot of time. Whilst your toon would allow me to play in smaller stuff and thus explore this game even more. Moreover, I'd be willing to pay you 1 ISK, and donate another 1 ISK to any player / corporation you might want to support. Like this not only I get to enjoy EvE a bit more, but so will someone else.
