Hello, I'm new to Linux/ubuntu all together. I wanted to try it out, so i downloaded Ubuntu 10 and duel booted it on my laptop. After a few hours figuring stuff out. I wan to get Eve online to run on it. I know the steps but im running in to a "space" problem. When i go to run the install program, its not letting me go to the next step because its saying i do not have enough room. Now when I installed Ubuntu i only gave my self 18GB of space. I think that im out of space and need more. Is there a way to partition my HD now to allow more space?
Im a newb when it comes to Linux/Ubuntu, but i want to learn it. It seems like i can have more control over my comp then letting windows do everything =/

gparted is your friend. Graphical, flexible, NTFS support, grow partitions, shrink partitions, slice, dice, julienne, it does everything.

Yes, this is true.
However, I would make sure to back up anything important before messing with paritions.
To get Gparted, you need to boot up into a Live CD and access it from there.

you can use your windows hard drive when you install eve, you dont have to partition anything. This is clearly a signature. |

Think he means the issue with the installer auto extracting itself to the c:\temp directory that happen to be on his small partition, i have the same problem.
