with how many votes did EVE win? Can't seem to find the numbers.
Was it a significant portion of the player base that voted or just a vocal minority that just happens to be larger than the vocal minorities of the other games?
Maybe the silent majority even agrees with the sentiment displayed in this thread? We'll never know, though, as the silent majority is usually, well, silent. Guess it's easy to project your own opinion on people that haven't displayed theirs.

How about CCP you fix the game 1st so we can actually play it???
Jumping in system with 200-500+ ppl and not loading grid or jammed guns for 5mins, perma lag during fleet fights, TRAFFIC CONTROL even in gangs of 30-50ppl.
The list is much longer but im sure we all know it.
Fix the game than ask us to help you get reward cos atm this game doesnt deserve any reward unless its LAG REWARD LOL

A chunk of the posts are ragers Zeba, but not the majority.
Pages 1-65 or so had some quality content from big names. As a threads lifespan lengthens, it devolves into terrible posting and nasty little back and forths. Such is the internet.
I urge you not to dismiss those who quietly made sense because of a few (alright more than a few) jackasses. By all means though, keep getting people worked up.  (No Sarcasm.)
It's fun to watch.

I never dismissed any of the 'quality' posts such as they were even if all they really were was a slightly moar polite way to say 'ffs fix your game ccp I want to fight'. Also I only ever responded to the trolls the entire time after my first post on page 56. Remember it was you guys who attacked me at ever turn for giving my opinion. (which obviously didn't sit well with some of the people in the thread. gosh darn opposing opinions on a gaming forums.. ;p)

Nice to see an 80+ page thread regarding the terrible state of eve online is still near the top of page one.
Just had a petition rejected due to: You were dead before that screenshot - your client was just lagged. Screenshot was a of a t2 fit drake at 30% shields on an undock being shot by 2 battleships.
In my mind thats a simple declaration from a GM that pvp has been reduced to pure lottery.

Ah, not a safe assumption. As *many* have poasted in these forums already, many high-sec toons are merely alts for low and null-sec PvPers.

0.0 is EVE. We're the guys with 5 alts, who make EVE the game it is, and if you've ever seen an EVE advertisement, it's big fleet fights or small pvp.
The fact that they still win just goes to show that all Icelandic citizens where forced to vote, and we need to do more the curb stomp the people who get paid to not work on this game.
