Well said JoCool.
I don't know why anyone would ever want to shield tank a Sacrilege anyway. The only reason i could see would be to cram the lows with dmg mods for a higher damage output. Then again, thats what the Zealot is for so it's useless when used for damage.
So erm, armor tank or die ________________________________________________________

NPCs play a big role in this game. If these increases come for players only it will be far to easy to make isk via agent missions. If you increase the npcs hp it will make the game more boring.
So what is the plan, make the npcs hit a lot harder? Something has to be done...

Originally by: Jim Raynor Why do we need a HP increase for ships anyways?
And why are the increases so skewed? Caldari/Minmatar seem to be getting shafted badly, while Amarr ships are getting a heaping crapload more HP than the other races.
Why not just a flat X% increase across the board, aren't current values pretty balanced as it is?
Just wondering.
At first glance, these changes look as ridiculous as those insane PG changes proposed a while ago. Thank god that was canned...
The one thing i do like about these changes is the contrast changes between armor/shields. When you go up against a raven, you know you will be chewing through a hell of a lot of shield before you get into it's frail armor. Vice versa for amarr ships.

I think these HP changes are retarded as well but how does 5% less armor / 10% more shield and 50% more structure make gallente worse then amarr?

Cause the amarr can tank that armor much better already. giving them relatively more of it serves to widen that gap. Altho I must say the las stats look better then the first set, which was incredible crap.
Also please note its in %, not totals. then go check apoc armor v mega armor and see.
I still say screw the structure, give am all armor OR shield and at the same rates. I have no use for any shield hp's on my megathron, just like I have no use for them on my apoc. But why do we get any ? just cause the backstory says so ? Is that a true reason to give us less balance ?
and btw, what about pve ? Are we really supposed to have it even easier ?
Point taken, tbh, i think hybrids need a boost overall, more dmg for rails, less cap use/fitting reqs for blasters.
AFAIK, amarr/caldari are suppose to be the best tanks while gallente/minmatar compensate with less tanking but more dmg?
These hp changes still blow ________________________________________________________
