Hi!
Continuing on the research that T'amber started, I'm posing questions to the community in the hope that a) People answer and b) That its vaguely interesting to read. This is the fourth question in this series. You may include more than one person in your answer, but make sure that its obvious who is your first choice.
Who is the most Notorious Ingame scammer of all time?
And what did they do, or are doing?

I've not played for long, but the first person I noticed as a "scammer" or "scamming" was Miilla. He hangs around in all sorts of unsavoury locals selling various items.
He does however have some comedic value.

What defines a scammer in your eye. The scumbags in Jita or elsewhere?
Guess the most notorious are the one who invented the first scam of each type and really earned cash with it and afaik there is only 1 scam named after his inventor, the Lofty Scam.

I'm not very in-tune with the greater part of Eve, but there are a few names I'm familiar with, which means they must be something of importance:
Hargoth -- When BoB got Gooned. This happened a month or so before I started playing but is such a historic event that pretty much everyone knows about it, young and old, and knows how it happened and who it was caused by -- this guy.
ButterDog -- Something of a Paris Hilton of Eve, not famous for actually doing anything but famous for being talked about (usually in a negative way).
Garmon -- Everyone seems to know who this guy is.
Jade Constantine -- Probably the epitome of the Eve roleplayer. And roleplaying is evil.
Dame Death -- If Jade Constantine had a mental breakdown and became addicted to meth, Dame Death is what he'd become. Universally despised across Eve. Legendary corp-jumper.
Mittani -- One of many infamous ex-GS directors/"spymasters"/troll extraordinarie/ne'er-do-well, probably the most notorious, if only because his alliance failcascaded out from under him while he was busy lording it up over how awesome he was.

Unfortunately these rules are inconsistent. As several people have pointed out, T20 is indeed one of EVE's most most nefarious and notorious players, in game, by any reasonable definition. Without his inclusion, your list is sorta pointless. Theft of BPOs from an out-of-game source and injection of them into his alliance is as nefarious as it gets, nor has any player ever been more widely reviled by the player community for his actions. If you leave him off the list, you are being (to use a recently-famous phrase) pants-on-head.

Can't really name an individual but the two corps are Zombie inc and Guiding Hand Social Club.
Zombie for the Yulai event and GHSC for all the crazy and sometimes mind boggling escapades they have done.
When I think about it, afk cloaker is probably the most notorious player of all time.

Lol just noticed this thread and found a guy I knew... Krall Amarr... We've been in the same corp for quite some time, back in the times of lotka volterra and ion core. Actually he's not that bad, though he's certainly self centered... What you have to understand is that, like most communities I guess, the italian eve community is split in two, so you will get the haters on one side and the "supporters" on the other.

This thread is so full of fail. Tons of pilots who HAVE to be on these lists are not, in fact I don't see any nefarious players on the whole list.
For starters:
Mynxee - Hellcats founder AND member of CSM
Kate Mosh - Probably the most successful solo pirate in eve
Ken Plante - probably the most successful ganker in eve, very well known
Kirith Darkblade - Incredibly successful rifter pirate with a very well followed blog
Ka Jolo - Same as above but with the Incursus
Verone - Anyone ever heard of Veto?
Seriously, who makes these lists? I'd like to see a comprehensive one at some point, but this is little more than a list of forum famous players for the most part. I'd recommend letting people who actually are nefarious nominate the nefarious.

Took the name on the first day of release to keep anyone else from taking his name in case he changed his mind and decided to play live. He was probably the main reason why Mo0 took me in. That just in case Leeloo comes back factor.
He was a great infiltrator in Dark ages of Camelot as well.

Er, why the hell not? Because the list is going to be used elsewhere? So what? Do you want a list of the most nefarious Eve players, or do you want something else?
Good luck with your list of "The most nefarious Eve players that CCP's public relations department approves of" or whatever it is that you're trying to build, here.
