Its not about whether Pure Blind is "Open for Everyone" which is a phrase that suggests its some paradise of safe systems and no threat where everyone can skip around laughting between the stars. 0.0 is dangerous space and it can't be free to everyone because not everyone is up to the task of living there. Some people either can't handle (or don't want to handle) the potential risks of being attacked by illegals or rivals and such. I don't look down on such people but I won't make changing space to suit them a part of what I believe in. So Free space means Free of territorial claims as much as anything and insomuch as nobody claims Pureblind then it means it is technically "free" but that is no excuse to flit around with your eyes closed and hope somebody else protects you while your mining. Free (from landgrabbing greed merchents) not Free (lunch) (And I suppose people are going to moan about the everyone bit too. Thing of the matter is that some people and corporations face arbitary attack in "free space" because of their past actions.
