NSA - BoB Agreement
We are pleased to announce that the NSA has decided to accept BoB's offer to join in creating a new future for the regions of Venal, Tenal, Branch, Deklein and Fade under the wing of BoB.
This development officially marks the end of all complications arising from the Venal conflict.
These regions have seen more than their fair share of war, intrigue and strife. Some among us have been involved since the beginning, the very first Venal war, over a year ago. In many ways, the three major clashes that occured here for over a year were just phases of one larger conflict. We recognize our error in leaving these regions to the care of those that eventually became the confusing mass that was the PA. We take responsibility for this and we have resolved to rectify our mistake. The future of the regions of Venal, Tenal, Branch, Deklein and Fade will now be determined by BoB. We promise a clearer and brighter future.
For the people in BoB, this is welcome news on a personal level as many of us feel close affinity with the people in the NSA. Unfortunately, the past developments resulted in complicated choices of allegiance. With the start of this collaboration, we are confident that the NSA will see the future that we had in mind and understand the reason why we did not waver, and even went so far as to fight former friends, in our efforts to achieve it.

What's it with all the people jumping on NSA, they saw they couldn't won the war (or well, whatever the reason for accepting the offer was, I don't know) and decided to be part of a new "nation" in 0.0 instead of going back to suck veldpsar.
I'm all for honor and integrity even in games, but there's a line beetwen "honor and integrity" and "sillyness".
In my very humble opinion of course.

I dont see the problem now, NSA is able to grow and enjoy there time in the north.

Have they been expelled from the NSA, decided to fight against the new NSA/BOB agreement, or have they simply left the region (either through force or under peaceful terms). I don't claim to know what is going on in the North anymore so if someone could enlighten me I would appreciate it.

Everyone knew the public belittlement that NSA would recieve by accepting BoB's offer...
Yet the majority of them did, for the future survival of NSA.
This action, regardless of whether you agree with it or not, took a lot of balls for the NSA to proceed with.

From what I understand the deal is relatively even-handed, and i think that it was the only sane choice for an alliance facing those kinds of odds. Besides, the alliance is left to do what alliances do, and that is to prosper and grow stronger.
Also, good luck to the corps that left ... I understand your decision and hope your new homes, where-ever they may be, be more in-line with your objectives.

0.0 is dangerous space and it can't be free to everyone because not everyone is up to the task of living there. Some people either can't handle (or don't want to handle) the potential risks of being attacked by illegals or rivals and such. I don't look down on such people but I won't make changing space to suit them a part of what I believe in.
So Free space means Free of territorial claims as much as anything and insomuch as nobody claims Pureblind then it means it is technically "free" but that is no excuse to flit around with your eyes closed and hope somebody else protects you while your mining.

hmmm, not what I heard of. Especially considering the difference in size between Huff and NSA. How big is NSA these days btw?

painful and not fair. it takes a lot of guts to accept your losses and refocussing on your objectives. why did nsa lose it to bob. after all, nsa is/ was very big and powerfull

painful and not fair. it takes a lot of guts to accept your losses and refocussing on your objectives. why did nsa lose it to bob. after all, nsa is/ was very big and powerfull

I am an ex-member of Huff Tech, I left due to personal reasons and thus i have an unbiased opinion.
For the first few days of my joining Huff I experienced a lot of solo kills and a lot of group/fleet action.
It was mostly camping Jita/Niyabainen and shooting the NSA comer-throughs until they built up a mini fleet to fight.
The mini fleet action happened twice while I was there. It was a good fight, NSA battleships went down, Huff battleships went down. One night a "stupidly massive NSA blob" (as i was told, being as i wasn't there) entered Jita and maybe got a few Huff kills before they were forced to retreat.
Not being a fan of the blob wars I decided to stick it out in Tribute and just mine for a bit until I could be bothered logging my main on. Not much happened during this time as i can recall, just the usually picking off lone targets in the hub systems.
Now, I think this is the turning point of events, would any Huff correct me if I am wrong?
One night we decided to put forward a fleet and go to Torrinos and maybe Deklein if we could be bothered.
Alas, we made our way through Lonetrek but it took longer than we anticipated and some members logged. On the way down Huff got a myriad of NSA kills from all classes.
In Torrinos there was nothing to do, there were not masses of NSA about and so we decided to make our journey home.
At one gate we encountered a battleship, Frakri locked and fired. We had lost a handful of ships in Nonni and Yulai to that horrible overview plus neutrals. But this case wasn't a laughing matter. Frakri had fired at a neutral - unknowingly - in the flagship Raven. This particular Raven was worth over 450m IIRC. Raven went down in flames, Frakri logged, Morale was lowered.
After this I hadn't seen Frakri in game since. There were further group (blob) operations but these don't appeal to me at all, so I decided to go on my own. By this time BoB had already started eating Deklein and the majority of fighters had returned to 0.0 - all that was left in empire were miners and agent runners, all who had decided to hide. During this I just got bored, left Huff and went to PF-346 to shoot at NORAD ;)

Its kind of an absurd accusation to say that because we know someone who eledgedly ebayed over a year ago that we are all ebayers. Since we never mine how are we getting all this isk to sell? We dont dupe isk like members of the BoB allience used to do. So I don't see how it is at all fair to accuse us of ebaying.

you seem to be forgetting 1 very important thing .. you see, during the HUFF war, there were 4+ other war decs, and oh ya, dont forget BoB .. so you have a mostly industrial alliance with maybe the military corps consisting of maybe 15%-20% of the total # of people, i would say we did rather well thnk you very much .. seek all thy facts

Oh and crimson, if you can't handle pvp in EVE Online, or if things are too rough for you.. you can always try World of Warcraft, where you don't lose a damn thing for sucking. Ruining the game.. laff, maybe ruining your silly ambitions and fantasies in the north.

The only thing Huff did was gank a few loners in empire a few times.... Other then that it was primarily huff pods running back and forth.. Not to mention that at the time we were under constant attack from all sides, including up to 5 empire wars. Bob and there allies. It's almost impossible for any non-mega alliance to hold up under such constant pressure.
I dare any other alliance that was our size (in real players, not the 800 alt/part timers that are included in most alliance numbers :) ) to hold up for long under that kind of atmosphere. Even the mighty PA was reduced to gorrilla warfare towards the end. And their PVP force was much larget then NSA (COD) ever was.
In the future when even you admit to being a newbie, don't say things you have no clue about.

As far why my corp members think you ruin the game, I can not speak for them. And as for you thinking that our actions and thoughts are contradicting withing the corp (mainly mine vs theirs) its because we all have our own brains. We can think for our own. They can say whatever tickles their pickle.
We dont have the be on the same page. We dont have an objective to complete like you guys do: To be the best in the game, and the most powerful. We dont try and "win ****ing contests" like your corp mate Deathwing so graciously told us in that conversation with Killa vex. Thats a whole different bag of worms and I believe that it refelcts worse on Evolution & Co. than it does on Killa or Krullz.

I don't know to what extent your people have sought to emulate us in order to be able to fight us with our own tools. This is still an undecided matter, and I need more proof to see how effective you have been at the emulation.
However, the idea of emulation is something I find positive. If our enemies start beginning to use our strategies against us, it will certainly make for an interesting situation. It will finally allow us to move onward and develop more complicated strategies. I see this as a good thing.
The fact that this experiment is currently successful indicates that we might be doing something correct after all. If more people follow that pattern, that means there will be other groups that can achieve the same level of effectivity that we seem to have achieved. This means better competition and advancement in multiple fronts.
