Edited by: Ethixz on 17/08/2010 13:28:20 Scenario:
You are fighting a gang in high sec (0.6-0.9) that uses a neutral Damnation for fleet bonus/booster. You want to suicide gank the Damnation to eliminate the fleet booster effect and for a bit of lulz. Assume you know where the Damnation is and that it is not close to Stations or Stargates. Assume the Damnation pilot is an afk alt of an active pilot in the offending gang.
The Damnation fit:
Unknown (Most likely all warfare links/command processors with little regards to tank because of low risk involved for the neutral)
Question:
First, is this possible to do in said high sec space before CONCORD shuts you down? Second, how many ppl would you need and how would you do it, assuming the Damnation had a relatively "light" tank fit as described above?
Any and all input much appreciated, thanks in advance.
EDIT: Updated scenario, thx

One more thing you may wish to consider... how active is the Damnation pilot.
It's one thing to suicide gank an alt account that someone has to alt-tab to access. Then you simply get his main account engaged, and while that is busy, send in your suicide fleet.
It's another matter if the damnation pilot is active, that's his only window open, and he sits constantly aligned to a station or stargate.

Edited by: Intigo on 17/08/2010 13:43:07 Go ship scan the Damnation. If it has a tank (1600 + EANMs) then just give up right now.
Otherwise it should be doable with like ~4+ arty platforms. ___________________

Aye.....that was what I was going to do, scan him to see what we were dealing with. But what about Smarties (not the candy type)? Added bonus to that could be to pod him but then also risk podding each other ofc
Will run some numbers on Arty setups though thx for the tip. I suppose platforms that give bonus to dmg and rate of fire would be preferred or just what ever gives the highest alpha possible?

The latter is a -very- big assumption. My damnation is already fit for use, I don't take off the tank just because I don't expect to get shot at. A damnation can out-tank any battleship, numerous numerous times over; it could -really- cost you to suicide gank it. Ship scan it, and see, like the previous poster said

You are better off ganking a freighter, it might after all give you some nice loot for the effort.
