I've also had this problem, and now myself and others are having issues connecting with the eve online website. Different countries, different isp's and browsers on different systems, we're wondering if this is an issue with your servers or part of the network infrastructure?

I've had intermittent success with Evemon over the last couple of days.
yesterday I also had "something has happened to our planck bubble stabilizers" (or whatever) when trying to download the sisi patch, don't know if it's related (now got patch up and running)

Seems to be fully down, even though eve-offline reports it up.
Neither EVEMon nor EFT can connect to the API at this time.

Yes it has been very finicky since the "Updated Hardware" downtime. I suppose it will go onto the 18 Month list of fixes.

Evemon has been acting like crap for me lately, while Capsuleer is working fine. Leads me to believe it has something to do with evemon.

Evmon, EFT and Capsuleer have been working only sporadically for me since last night. I got Evmon to work a little better since increasing the timeout to 30 seconds. Now, none of them work for me. When I go to http://api.eve-online.com/account/Characters.xml.aspx all I now get is a "Could not connect" error. From Chicago.

Strange that it seems to be a location based problem, but that would verify the anecdotes about some people having it work and others not. Also, the last hop before the destination seems to change.

Had similar issues. Ended up putting the time out on evemon to a minute.
Still plays up now and then, but not as much.

I can ping the site, that is working, however the webpage is not coming up.
To a CCP Sysadmin, please go to the webserver(s), and restart the IIS web service.
Or remove the faulty web server from the NLB pool.

Yeah Evemon is now completely useless now - maybe this is a CCP initative to encourage players to use that evegate thing. hahaha.
By the way we broke the forum tables in this thread so technically anyone who posts here acan get banned from forums.

I started having severe API problems since the relevant code got tweaked.
Needless to say, as corporations auditor my job bacame quite of a chore.
EvEMon now is kind of dead, even bringing the API response timeout to double of its value it keeps getting API errors 90% of the time I use it.
