CCP actually doing something about lag

Ham2000	Posted - 2010.08.26 06:55:00 - [1] I was one of the complainers when they asked for our vote, why should we you havent fixed lag. Well, it looks like CCP is actually doing quite a bit now to fix lag, from software bug fixes to testing new hardware, so I for one would like to thank them, and hope that they keep going in this direction, I've only logged in twice in the last month, now I might actually start logging in more often.

Just shows we can make a difference, or at least notifying news sites can make a difference as it hits them not only in their pockets if we quit, but also reduces the number of new subscribers they can potentially get.

See recent dev blogs. Well actually I think they already had all that stuff planned out to do and were waiting for when everyone came off of vacation to start the ball rolling. So obviously you were not going to be getting any dev activity be it on the forums or on the job for a bit before they went off to relax and for a short time after they came back so they could get their heads back on the task at hand. It was funny that people kept poasting in the vote thread about ccp not careing because of no dev responces to their wailing when they themselves would tell their boss to go stick it up his arse if they were asked to do work related stuff in the middle of their vacation.
