IMHO Eve would be better if all Russians were moved to their own separate shard server, like the Chinese server. Or, perhaps move the Russians to the Chinese server -- at least then the timezones would be better synced.
What say you?

Sure every country should get their own server, hop to it CCP, this whole everybody on the same server idea was so turn of the century we're moving onward and outward from that crap.

because removing half the sov map and depopulating 0.0 even further works great? because removing timezones from a 23/7 game also works great?
well I wouldnt mind if you just moved the nc to its own server and let them enjoy the benefits of everyone in eve being blue to them, they could finally rat in peace while training marauders 5

I like having the Russians around.
Its a huge group of violent and unfriendly people that Im essentially unable to communicate with.
The reality of the situation makes them defacto "bad." And that makes eEVE a better place.
NOTE: I totally get that they are not actually bad people and some of them could well see me as pasrt of a defacto bad group.

Russia is to Europe like the what Africa is to the entire world. Of course it's better to keep them segregated but sometimes mixing can result in a few funny or exciting moments. Like walking through Harlem at night or the Rodney King beating.

Because the people who told you Russians are just white Chinese people were lying. The Russian language and Cyrillic alphabet actually line up much, much better with Latin based languages than the Chinese tonal & logographic systems. As a result, plenty of Russian people speak fluent English and other European languages, and vice-versa.
Barely any Chinese people speak anything other than their native dialect because their own language and writing is so unique they generally fail to grasp other systems of language on a fundamental level.
Russians belong here. They actually have some hope of communicating with the rest of the server.

Agrees with the OP russians are the biggest cheating griefers of the game untrustworthy,cheating, macro using on a gigantic scale , and keen to exploit any bug they find, EVE would be better without them

I find Russian pilots to be excellent PvPers. I would like to think the skilled players are aware that the macro farms are costing them respect, and will work towards removing them.
Our Russian friends make great enemies and I would hate to lose them, so I say no to a separate shard.

I agree Russians should be moved. And as a demographic I highly doubt Russians were at the top of the list when EVE was developed and marketed. The fact remains that Russians do not fit in morally and ideologically with our western world, which I'm pretty sure should still be CCP's first and foremost consideration since we are still their primary market I'd guess.

More Canadians play EVE per capita then Americans. We are .7% below the Russians.
When a friend introduced me and my GF to a new corp, we got to talking with the people and mentioned we were Canadian. Our Corp leader wasn't happy, he said something to the effect that there is more of them. AO is about 75% Canadian by accident.
So we call ourselfs a Canadian RP corp. and all Americans better learn the ropes. It is good to fly with 50 something people who know why 5-10 good cups of Tim's is part of a balenced diet.
Calling all Canadians AO needs you, if just to **** off the leadership.
