As it stands, though, it takes a long time to get done, and can be too easily screwed up to the point where you have to start over. How to connect to the test server is three easy steps even a wow kiddie could do. 1) Make a new directory named 'whatever name you want' and copy the contents of your current live TQ client to it. 2) Go here and use the 'Patch From TQ version to current version' link for your os to get it on the same version that sisi is running. 3) Make a new shortcut by dragging the eve.exe from the new folder to the desktop and editing the target line to C:\CCP\TEST\eve.exe /server:87.237.38.50 and then use it to login. Takes all of 5 minutes to do and works every time. Also once its done the first time all you need to do is repeat steps 1 and 2 to always have a current test server install. And yet thats exactly what they say. Don't believe me? Look up that massive troll thread about the eurogaming vote for eve. Apparently even the 'top names' in the current alliances all feel this way. Kinda stupid and counter productive tbh but go figure about the demographic we are talking about who has a long history of 'fix it nao or else we troll everything' lobbyist campaigns.. The bottom line is that no matter what a player might feel about the situation one way or another the hard facts are that less participation in mass testing equals more time to fix the problem. Period. And yes we all know MM helps regularly so don't get your panties in a bunch as I'm not talking about the players who actually contribute to bettering the game. The first fight, I got off maybe 3 shots in 15 minutes, in the second (with the fix deployed), I got at least 40, and I died. Also a test that seems to be a horribly laggy failure after a seemingly successful laggish free fight might still be a success depending on if they were trying to reproduce something to verify its the offending bit of code. Zeba Minmatar Honourable East India Trading Company	Posted - 2010.09.03 08:14:00 - [12] As far as the mass test schedule maybe ccp can authorise some overtime pay for the relevant devs as internal incentive to run the fights outside of normal ccp office hours to better coincide with the majority of players work day? Maybe they can have the morning off too so they can sleep in or just relax until they have to report to work for a mass test. I'm sure that more players would participate if ccp waited until the actual adult members of the game were able to log on after getting home from work instead of the usual stay at homebodys that usually make up the normal tests.
