9/11 was very wrong and i will remember those who fell that day, but let it not blind us with hate! Lets learn why this conflict is upon us, is it because of good old fashioned your catholic and im muslim nonsense!or is it because of certain countries who feel the rules dont apply to them causing anger?*cough...Israel

I congratulate you sir, for having a complete lack of understanding of a historical event that firmly places you within the academic range of those who think the moon landings were faked.
You mean the american historical view of it? For the rest of the world it was a disgrace. After murdering aprox. 166.000 people in Hiroshima, USA decided it was so successfull that they decided to murder another 80.000 in Nagasaki. No sir. It is I who should congratulate you!
It must also be added that Japan has been trying to surrender to US for several months leading to that point. Google it. ...

Oh come on ... USA drops the first uranium bomb and the first plutonium bomb on live test subjects?
Read on web sites and government approved history books if you like that it was to end the war, but you know that it was to test the effects. On thousands upon thousands of live subjects. Who live thousands of miles away.
Feel bad for the 9/11 victims though. No one should suffer that in the name of a book written before we could even understand why the sun rose from the horizon.

So from your words, Iran could get a bomb and use them in an eventual coming war with USA/Israel. because they will have that moral right to do so since they are being occupied. And real-politika is at that point irrelevant.
USA decided under the 2nd world war to not interfere. That is untill japan sunk their ships. And for retalliation they killed 250.000 people. As a norwegian from a occupied country under the war I too would have liked to see the war end early. It does not however permit wholesale slaughter on innocent people.
Nuclear armed nations don't fight each other. I highly doubt Iran will be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons.
Allowed to??? North Korea aquired it! I am sure they are still having some too under the table! The world did not allow it. But it certainly did not stop North Korea! And the same will be the situation with Iran. If they see the chances to be occupied by USA or Israel, they simply MIGHT get the nukes, because if they are going to die anyway, why not simply blow up Israel at the same time. It is such a small state and could easily be sent to kingdom come.......

Sorry to derail, but why shouldn't Iran or any other country be allowed to develop nuclear weapons? Because they aren't as responsible as us in the west?
America states that it is their right for the whole nation to bear arms. This means the everybody has the right to bear arms whether they are in the high IQ percentile or the (majority) low IQ percentile.

Just wait until all threads about the "other" 9/11 are locked and people are redirected here, because "one thread is enough".
Don't blame them, that was a tuesday too.

Because Iran is a threat to world peace, like ****** *******. Imagine what would have happened if Iraq hadn't been liberated, a million Iraqi's wouldn't have died in 7 years and ****** had used those weapons he had trained on London in 45 minutes? Scary isn't it, using weapons you don't have?
On the other hand Vietnam, being a beacon of democracy, freedom and rule of law, is being lined up for US nuclear technology. I do applaud the USA, doing it's utter best from preventing Nukes from falling into the hands of terrorist and pariah states such as Israel and Vietnam, knowing that Vietnam will give all sold/given info and technology to China, if they haven't got it already (which they do).

Hey sorry to bring religion in to this as it will no doubt lock a religious biased thread. But why should religious views be banned from discussion on these forums?
Religion is an often discussed often banned subject here, but surely if there is one institution/organization that doesn't need protecting by banning negative comments it is religion. If god dont like it god with sort it out either with thunderbolt or (if he wishes to retain his mystery) a directed heart attack that looks like natural causes.

I want to know why you censor some names and not others? Only the worst criminals are allowed here are they?
This discrimination is imperialistic, hypocritical and quite pathetic and it's because of behaviour like this that I left the tragedy that is the 'West' and moved elsewhere.

That's great and all, but could you take your soapbox asshattery elsewhere, and file a petition if you have a grievance regarding the word filter. This is a serious thread, with a serious message of remembrance. ---

The only reason it's not -10/10 is because you took the time to ram some keys on a keyboard. By the way, I intend to hold a memorial day for the lolinvaion of Iraq.

OK so I just got cleaned up and quite likely banned in the future.
I know that we shouldn't discuss religion on the forums but I don't know WHY.
We are free to discuss and ridicule any scientific achievement or theory to our hearts content without the need of the ban bat. I could say that Darwins theory of evolution is horse carp or that Newtons theory of gravity blows and nothing would happen except people would spam a load of evidence and call me a moron.
But if I said christianity was a load of horse crap or islam blows I risk getting banned. Religion doesn't need to be protected by forum rules or any laws. If what I say is wrong just post evidence to disprove me. If you can't find any evidence then let your god sort it out. god is meant to be all powerful and all knowing. If religion needs special protection against being offended then that has to say something.
Cya after my ban.

If you know your history - which apparently you don't - you would know that Pinochet was a product of the School of the Americas, itself a product of the CIA. So, really, your comment was just a little too overt and totally unnecessary.
I don't want the background politics to detract from the geniune tragedy of this event, please don't bring them in here. I want this to be a place of memorial and contemplation for those who wish to pay their respects. ---

Thankfully, you're not employed by CCP.
Additionally, I don't hear a lot about the 1973 coup in the media nowadays and the people it victimised. Do you? ---

LOL at the atomic bombs seriously. Far more people died in places like Dresden which if I remember history correctly the RAF helped with. the Nukes where the first real use of "Shock & Awe" but incindery bombing by the allies as a whole killed far more people per city.
But WW2 was a state of what is called "Total War" which means that everything is a war target because everything is adding to the effort

Er... That thing 9 years ago had nothing whatsoever to do with democracy. It was either an attack by terrorists who are on a jihad against the US and/or capitalism, or an attempt by a government to pass some quite fascistic laws. Either way it was used as an excuse to reboot the weed plantations in Afghanistan and take some Iraqi oil.
Democracy at work though maybe?
Also, it mostly rocked the US, all it did everywhere else was be inconvenient to airline passengers.
