I think the best solution is for CCP to release a few more of the Cap II BPO's so there's a few more people competing and the prices come down to something reasonable.

Since I was the first to mention the 50 B figure, I want to clarify that it was just a quick guesstimate. After taking a closer look at available data, I do think it was way too high. The true value is of course what people are willing to pay, and I'm sure whoever ends up getting this BP will have to pay through his nose for it.

I don't really see what your problem is, if it turns out the original poster does not have the item then what someone wasted 10 minutes of their time tops bidding on it. No big loss. If the trade window can only do 2.1 billion isk though, then there is potential for scammage. Was it your BPO or something?
