[33] Possibly establish some sort of area/dedspace where people can play 'Duck Duck Goose' with there ships. This would strengthen the game as a whole in my eternal opinion. |

There were casino facilities in beta because there was a casino in the outpost in Tradewars... Everything links back to Tradewars. If the devs keep true to their Tradewars roots, then at some point planetary ownership will become possible and you will be able to put banks on the planets you own that accumulate interest... not to mention Quasar cannons.  |

[45] If I could play Texas Hold 'em (my second love) in Eve (my 1st love), I'd probably only log off during downtime, I'd have t change my name to "Mr 23/7" lol. But for real, Casinos would rock. Heck, My wife would probably play EVE if it had Casinos after walking in stations was added. |

[46] They wont ever put casino's in, as it will go against a lot of gambling rules. Just think the pulitical fus this would create. If they want casino's the game would automaticly have to be 18 (or 21?)+ of age and they'd have to close down any account with anyone younger. And since they cant check that (mommy can i play eve?) If they want casino's the game would automaticly have to be 18 (or 21?)+ of age and they'd have to close down any account with anyone younger. And since they cant check that (mommy can i play eve?) They can't add casino's ---sig--- Carebear for life (unless I am in the advantage and have 99% chance of winning(, hey 1% chance to lose, thats risk right, good!)! |

[48] Edited by: tarisai hsaun on 26/07/2007 00:41:52 surely legal issues only enter into it when you are gambling real money. i mean, they have cigs and booze and exotic dancers for sale in eve...they are just as real as the casino would be. i'm not so sure on the casino idea anyways. but thats only cause i never really have the time when logged in to do this. a bank however. great idea. you could take out loans and if you miss repayments you get a heavy sec drop, or hanger assets removed by the repo folk. EDIT: obviously you'd have to have the assets to cover your loan in the first place. otherwise you'd have free money from an alt every ten hours. |
