No real money involved? You can buy game cards with money and sell the cards for isk...CCP even facilitates the transaction. What you miss is the point that you cannot turn ISK legally back into RL money. That is the cruical point here. You maybe can get tons of isk via GTCs but there is no legal way to get back RL money from your ISK - and that is good.
