Just a piece of constructive criticism. When you say Slave or Crystal Implant Set, it kinda denotes the Omega is included since, well, its part of the set. Don't bury the fact the omega isn't included in a mouse over...

I've really enjoyed the site. I like the new format for the Promos, gets them out of the way aftet I buy a ticket.
I'd like to see the Stats page expanded a bit, maybe show the 10 most Blinked ships.
Overall, I'm really having a good time with this whole thing.

TBH, I'm a bit surprised how popular this is.
You have awarded 10.4 trillion isk in prizes, while the house makes a bit under 2 trillion in the same period, and people praise you for it.
Maybe the EVE population is getting jaded over a good use of their time, but then again, this is EVE we are talking about.

10,420,647,424,620 in prizes out.
2,709,368,330,401 in the houses margin (average is about 26% difference between the value of the item and the total ticket cost)
Minus 453,969,000,000 in 'achievement' credit given to blinkers
Also subtract the 700(ish) promos that have run, giving them a gracious value of 500 mil each, which is very forgiving since a lot of faction frigs/skills/etc worth much less makes it about a 345 billion hit to the house.
House is left with a shade under 2 trillion isk and somehow the players are left with a smile on their face.
Scary thing is on the black market (RMT) its like my yearly salary ($70k USD)
So Somer: BMW or downpayment on a house?

Sadly, your numbers on our profit margins are a bit off. I won't lie, I wouldn't be sad if they weren't, though. :p
There are quite a few internal/operational expenses that aren't in your calculations. Also, we've done our best to be generous to the Eve community in response to our success. We've made large donations to Eve Uni, and we sponsor Agony U PVP classes for those that can't afford it. We even tried to give a chunk to RvB, though they never got back to us. All in all, while we do make enough ISK to make it worthwhile to continue - most of it we try to get back into the community in good ways. We're still taking suggestions on new deserving groups for this, btw :)
But, to address your more central point, yep - Blink is a business, and we do make some ISK off it. It's gambling, and I think our customers are all aware of the risks of loss they take when they gamble.
But we always do our absolute best to make the gambling fun and exciting. We weren't required to give away that 345 BILLION worth of promos, or the 454 BILLION worth of achievement ISK. We even made a way (Butan trivia) to try and allow those who want to play a little for absolutely free to be able to. The ISK amounts those things add up to is not small in anyone's Eve - and they aren't things we had to do. We do it to make Blink more fun :)
I think our customers have a good time with Blink. I know I always have a good time hanging with them in our channel. And we're always receptive to anyone that has suggestions on how to make the service more fun - even if that fun hurts the financial bottom line sometimes.
As to the "down payment" comment - I promise, we HATE RMT. There are numerous things we could have done to increase our legitimate business - ISK transfers through the site between players, account balance withdrawal, et cetera - but we specifically chose not to do those things because it would draw in ISK-laundering RMTers and benefit their business.
I'm fairly certain CCP watches any high-ISK-turnover business closely for this kind of thing. I definitely hope they do, and that they'd come down with a swift ban-hammer on anyone doing it.
We play Eve too, afterall :)
