As a reletively new player I can not claim to know all that goes on out in 0.0 or in faction warfare; what I do know is that this is simply the best game I have ever played. So I thought I'd write a big shout out to all the boys and girls at CCP and say; you are guys are simply swell. Keep your chins up in the face of adversary your noble course of action will prove the nay sayers wrong. Best Regards Kaurapa

It's not without it's faults, I agree, but they are outweighed by it's greatness. It's the one game I have come back to again and again as others fall by the wayside. *Squeaks*

Which is about 2 times as long as other MMO's I have subscribed to. So despite the fact that there are plenty of issues to be annoyed with at times, I still find it enjoyable above and beyond any of the others.

Maybe only 7.. but either way I plan on sticking around for a long time to come; I wanna see where this 'sci-fi simulator' intent is gonna take us. Lost Greybeard	Posted - 2010.09.19 03:36:00 - [8] I was really in Eve to burn time while waiting for another MMO to come out, but honestly it's grabbed me pretty well, and I'm enjoying it enough that I'll probably keep up my subscription even once the new game is up and running, so long as I have the spare money. Figured I'd add that in there since I'm one of the "young" players the game is supposed to be unfairly tilted against. While I'm at it, this game makes for the best just-back-from-the bar pvp of any game I've played. Quite entertaining. --- If you outlaw tautologies, only outlaws will have tautologies. ~Anonymous

Whats the next best thing? There isn't one, because there are no games currently live that are like eve. Will we all stay if that changes in the future? who knows, but we will find out. In the mean time, We can all give ccp a nice hell yeah once in a while as long as fixes are not 18 or 17, or what is it now? 15? months out.... TS3 and TS2 servers for rent, order here

( I had my first glimps of a capital ship today ;) ) And yes, unlike just about any other MMO out there, Eve is NOT about fairness and whining till you get your way. Eve is a dark nasty universe, where dark nasty things happen. A place where you are Never safe, a place where anything can happen at any time. ( and usually when you least expect it. ) While Eve has plenty of 'quirks', something I've already learned very early in my piloting career, it beats any other MMO out there by sheer uniqueness and openness in what to do etc.

Best Regards Kaurapa New players will not see the flaws of eve as there is simply too much to do and experience in the game for someone who is truely a virgin to the eve sandbox enviroment. Bitter vets on the other hand see them all too well but I guess thats just the nature of things in a sandbox game when you stick to it for the long haul. Not saying ccp isn't aware of said problems but don't expect them to be dealt with before they get the next generation of new players into the game with incarna and to a lesser extent dust. So this bitter vet has turned in his subs till ccp gets back to fleshing out the parts of the game us poor bitter vets would love to see finished. Saying that this is still the absolute best space based pew pew oriented mmo out there for now and the concievable future. ZOMG!!!

You play spreadsheets online akita so this is really the only mmo you could possibly subscribe to and have a long term challenge. For the rest of us that have 5+ years invested in the game we are getting a bit tired of the constant new content 'expansions' that don't really interest us at the expense of fleshing out the older content we absolutely love but have eventually tired of because it was never fleshed out. Why is it anyone with a positive view of the game is called an dev alt? Even though I literally quit the game over stuff that has been on the backburner too long I can admit that for someone with only a year or two into the game they might not see any of the long term issues that us bitter vets rage about. Let the man praise the game in peace and if you are a hater then just unsub and vote with your money. Its the only real action that will sway the cold hard calculations of a business anyways. ZOMG!!!

Thumbs up to CCP for a wonderful game that has kept me playing near enough constantly since December '04. In fact the only reason my subscription lapsed the few odd times was down to my moving house and having issues getting internet access installed.. 3 months with no net.. Yes, the game has its flaws and issues, but no other game has ever held my attention this long in my many years of gaming. I've laughed, I've nearly cried, many times I've almost crapped my pants.. and I still want more! edit: Spelling My EVE Tattoo! My Second EVE Tattoo!
