btw: under WindowsXP I had eve with dual monitors working perfectly in fullscreen.
I have read something that this is no longer possible since Vista and 7 and how it handles the compositing and stuff for multi display setups. :(
But I wonder that there is still no trick or tweak to come around this.

They messed with the way Windows handles video, so Windows Vista or 7 can no longer consider 2 monitors to be one big monitor. Some video cards have this built in now (Eyefinity) or you can buy a box where you plug two monitors in, then plug that into your computer.

I do I do! One gripe though, the lines coming off of the target origin crosshair don't extend the whole way across both screens...if you see what I mean in the pic?
I fail at describing myself.

That is amazing.
I currently have 2x 1680x1050 monitors, an account on each. Will change to that sort of set up for PvP ops though.

Found my older post about this idea.
Was thinking of getting a new monitor soon, and this gives me all the more reason to do so. Right now I have like a 4"x6" box in the center of my screen that shows my ship, because everything else it taken up by UI elements that are required for serious active play. Once this multi-monitor support goes live on EVE, I'll finally be able to see what I'm actually playing.

I actually have 3 screens for total of 5760*1200 screen space. I do prefer to have 2 clients and irc/whatnot all visible on the screens at the same time though. Build-in ability to maximize the client on desired screen would be awesome. Now I have to use one of the many eve windowed mode help apps to do it.

I can live without it for a while easy enough, I was just interested in whether it would be possible. That and I just love the sense of scale it gives you :)
