Awesome stuff. Was messing with it all day.. Only think I hope for is the ability to move the notifications since those get split. But other then that good work.

Tried to update to the newest SiSi client. Something about corrupt. Asked me if I wanted to run the repair tool. Sweet I thought, did that. And that failed.

That is because there is no patch for your sisi version to the current sisi version. It does happen sometimes. Only thing to do is recopy your tq version and patch it with latest sisi patch. (Or hope you can find the patch you need somewhere else (not likely)).
CCP, finally something cool and awesomely usefull again. tytytytyty \o/

Fortuitously my lefthand monitor is much wider than my right, so the notifications fit nicely onto it without a split ^_^

Maybe you should have done some reading about how the test server client works. Consider it an intelligence tests that corrupts your normal game directory if you get it wrong. -----

Finally! Nice work CCP. Should look awesome on the dual 24 inch screens.
See how you don't have to add new content to make subscribers happy? You just have to improve and polish what is already there ;)

Originally by: Ira Astrum I do I do! One gripe though, the lines coming off of the target origin crosshair don't extend the whole way across both screens...if you see what I mean in the pic? I fail at describing myself.
That is an issue you will get at 2560x1600 fullscreen. However I just disable the crosshairs as they are distracting if anything.
CCP Explorer, now that you finally are looking in to the client itself, have you considered the suggestion from Fanfest a few years ago to have a tab based framework (like a web browser) to run multiple clients and even have them share resources?

On a 3rd screen, easy.
Also does this mean we can run EVE in portrait shaped windows now?

Guess I better steal the 2 monitors off the computer my wife never uses
That's just pure awesome, they need to release asap.

If it's windowed-only, though, I unfortunately can't use it yet. EVE runs beautifully on my rig in fullscreen with max settings, but windowed mode makes it choppier.
I noticed this as well, then I realized in windowed mode at the same resolution as my monitor(s) the eve client was spanning both monitors by a hair. Try moving your client a hair or two to the left to make sure you're not spanning monitors. For me it was the difference between getting +80fps versus +20-30fps.
Also, the client has an option to specify which monitor a client is running on. So if you had two clients one on each monitor you'll need to make sure the client is properly set to use that screen. It'll work without the setting but you'll take a performance hit.

Matrox triple screen setup for three years crew checking in. This is still pretty awesome for the offset settings.
Check out some of the craziness possible with the ATI (sorry, AMD) Eyefinity products. You will wet your pants with excitement.

My graphics card probably will not run 2 monitors very well but I will try once it is released. - It's not "Play through a pre-set story, become stronger, do endgame". Gameplay is open ended, and you make your own story. Unless you're too afraid of 'pvp grief' to do anything relevant |

So does this change support two monitors running different resolutions, or does it require them to be the same?
Proper multi monitor support would be really good, but having to run one at a lower resolution in order to get the other one working at the same time wouldn't be so useful.

I tested it using an ATI 4800 series card with a 1920x1200 monitor in landscape and a 1024x1280 monitor in portrait with no issues so far.
Looks real nice.

If you happen to have one smaller screen...that suddenly can become your WHOLE overview!

see how AWESOME it is when you do tiny upgrade on the UI. last awesome was when you allowed us to change position of the HUD.
