Fail at reading much? ISK will be transfered through the share system. If you don't want any shares, you won't get any ISK.

I'm not sure if I should congratulate your determination or cry.

That's a tad misleading, and I see that now, that's "Could" not "always" and since Athre's departure capacity was depleted.
Thanks for clarifying that. I can see that when Athre left, it would have hurt your available jobs.
I have maintained 90 science and 90 production jobs practically non-stop for well over a year. Which is part of the reason I wanted to cry. It seems you guys did put forth an effort, but perhaps more could have been done.
Then again I am winding down my invention business due to just not enough time with work right now, so I know how much you guys probably hated knowing that you have to log in to start jobs
It's not much fun when your game time is more like a 2nd job

It is a good thing this is finally coming to a close. However think about everything you (EBank) have went through in the past year.
Was it really worth it??
I said it once and I'll quote it again
Quote: Most of the problems were caused by people that are not even involved with EBank anymore, so your hands are clean.

You guys did bust your ass and put up with a lot of ****. Although looking back, Ray didn't always make it easy for you guys either.
Were you guys called liars, scammers, and worse? Yes. Did people who were told "next update on this day" have a right to call EBank liars when 2 months after that date, there was still no update? YES.
Had the PR been better perhaps it would have been more manageable. Of course you would still have had some of it going on, but at least to the players they would have been able to see progress going on instead of being left in the dark.
Glad you guys can finally move on, and I hope your next 5 years in EVE are much more relaxing and enjoyable!

Ah, this bug which I asked about almost a month ago. Highly annoying, but there is a workaround for it in that thread that halfway works.
I'll also send it though evemail. It's worth a shot instead of waiting on a petition.

Maybe you should actually read instead of posting bull****. How the hell can you sell anything when they are locked down and stuck due to a bug?
The amount of stupid in this thread is amazing.

Considering you have to agree to an EULA which states that all ingame items belong to CCP, I suppose (theoretically) CCP could sue you for the ISK back (Even though they could just take it). Anyone else trying to do it would, or should, get laughed out of court for trying to get back items that do not belong to them in the first place.

The fact that it's a game shouldn't be an excuse - when real money changes hands, you are entitled to the service you paid for, at face value. Being stolen from then told it's a great gameplay experience doesn't really cut any ice.
The only thing paying CCP allows is to connect to their server.
Again I will mention that CCP owns all ingame items.
How can it be fraud if you don't own ISK?
Thats like a burglar suing for the return of the items he stole that were returned to the original owner when he was caught.

What is a PLEX used for?
30 days of subscription to connect to the server.
Nothing more, nothing less.
If a PLEX was unable to be traded, it would still be worth what it is today. 30 days of subscription time. Nothing more, nothing less.

Proof?
Quote: A Pilot License Extension (PLEX) is an item that adds 30 days of game time to your EVE Online account. It can be converted from any game time code and, like any other item, it can be traded on the EVE market.

Show me where in that article is specifically states that you MUST trade a PLEX for ISK?
Anywhere? Anywhere? NO. You may trade it, but it is used to add 30 days of time to your account. Nothing more, nothing less.

Originally by: Black Omne Edited by: Black Omne on 16/02/2011 00:49:23 Despite all the naysayers and scam proponents, I would like to thank Ray and Amarr Citizen for continuing their work on liquidating the bank, they could have walked away long ago, but I applaud their efforts, even if it has taken a long time, they are not getting anything out of it, and are investing their time and effort, which I appreciate. Just my opinion.
True, however they had two choices when liquidating.
A. Issue shares like they are doing now then paying out everyone. Would have taken a few days to weeks to figure out the number of shares needed and how many to issue.
B. Ask for API keys, decide not to pay back anyone who was involved in a scam or default on the bank. Issue shares like they are doing now then paying out everyone. Which is taking years to figure out the number of shares needed and how many to issue plus all the background checks going on.
Personally I prefer to work smarter, not harder. Apparently they prefer complicating things or are really stupid.

A very good point. But in the year or so it's been, most people could have recovered the difference plus made even more ISK.

I'm in shock!! You're not going to evemail them to confirm they are still playing to get their ISK back?
What kind of scammer are you?

It doesn't take 2 years to sell assets and distribute ISK to depositors. Unless of course you want depositors to jump through hoops that include giving away full API keys, DNA samples, and the names of each pet you have
Seriously, create shares to distribute to depositors, sell assets, issue dividends. EBANK made it a hundred times more difficult than it needed to be in the guise of "we don't want to pay back people who scammed us".
