Feeling for you bud and agreeing with the latter part for sure. UK here and so normally at work, DT doesnt effect me exept for my days off where i like to veg and sit infront of the pc pewpewing..... unfortunatly this is my day off and always seems to be when ever they do an extended patch lol

I heard somewhere between all the usual trolling that learning skills were being dropped in a future expansion????!!!!!
What the hell!!! Nooooo!!!!
Whats going to happen with all us long time players that invested time in training base learning skills to 5 and advanced to 4's or 5's? I appreciate that its given us an advantage on all those players who didnt have the foresight to train them in the first place but those skills contribute towards my skillpoint total that i've worked on since nov '07. That numbers supposed to grow, not get cut by 1.6mil because they decided to go in a different direction

I have to say I don't disagree with this. It basically sets everyone's learning skills to 5 and hands everyone tons of SP that trained them. I could skill up an entire racial tier of ships with that.
The downside would be the skillramping you'd see happen for newer players. Seeing a "newbie alt" in system might actually be as dangerous on its own as wondering if it's gonna pop a cyno.
Well thats not such a bad thing really. Remembering back to when i was a new player in a big bad world where some guy 3 years older would just come along and wipe out my poorly fit little frigate..... seems a boost might get these first timers to stick around. Plus side of that? more targets making the same silly mistakes. Great for the killboard stats

On a different note, can anyone post a link to a 'How to' site so's i can get one of those lovely signatures. Googled it but it takes me to 1000's of forum posts on scanning and ship fits etc
