For Background:
RUS-Corp are from an established Russian-based Corporation of long-standing in beta.
Some members have fairly extensive PvP experience from beta and their Corp was, at one point, the wealthiest (cash-terms) during beta.
Their current membership rating is around 70-80, including an unknown number of alts.
Their base of operations was often in the Curse-Fountain areas and they were heavily into the currently closed blackmarket arena of trade.
They also dealt in ship-building, strip mining and so forth.
Their current combat-strength is unknown as are ship-types and numbers.

Anyway. Why destroying their BS and not podding them for bounty? ---

I remember the Space Wolves, who were Dark Angels at the time, sharing the same station as RUS in beta. They were quiet all the time because only about 1 or two of them in the entire corp spoke English.

For Background:
m0o-Corp are a well publicised but small corporation of highly aggressive privateers.
Publically regarded as "public enemy number 1" their high-profile blockades of key Empire trade routes has bought them much publicity and anger but, we suspect, very limited income.
Their nominal pilot strength is thought to be , at most, 18 (eighteen) but the actual combat-numbers are problaby closer to 10 in extreme encounters.
m0o, we believe, are susceptabile for two major reason: They have a limited support foundation in terms of finances and their prefered method of "Piaracy" is a static blockade.
They have shown themselves to be highly motivated and reasonably adept in PvP combat, using any and all means to achieve kills.
m0o membership is also believed to include some members from the "End of EVE" corporation, although that corporation still subsists on its own.
It is thus plausible that EoE is a sub-division of m0o, however we think this unlikely and that EoE remain a distinct Corp.
m0o have been linked to the notorious "Stain Alliance and also to TTI - neither hold any particular credence in terms of open connections due to the locales of both and the minor actual numbers of m0o pilots.
The loss, if proven, of two m0o battleships may be cripling to m0o in the short term.

Raudka:
EoE membership did not fully merge with m0o, some high profile members did, but an element of EoE remains independent and may also see a resurgence (under that name or another).
We also believe that the parts of EoE that are within m0o have a tendency toward self-sufficiency and a stronger financial foundation that marks them apart in some respects.
We believe our information on this to be hard - but appreciate any information that updates our files.

Quote from bounty channel:
"Waxer > check this just got a return for a patition 3rd return now... :We are looking for ways to eliminate those stinking underhand tactics but unfortunately this has not been achieved yet. It may not make up for the lost ships and all the grief but I suspect youŠll be glad to know that earlier tonight j0rt and Ywev were met on the field of battle and there they each lost their battleships. CCP will be implementing changes to eliminate the tactics used by those guy and hopefully this will be fortcoming very soon. Best wishes. GM *censor*. Not wishing to make this into a "End of EVE" is in m0o thread I must point to several things:
-End of Eve has one member only - the CEO which is an alt char of a m0o member -Stavros, Axelay, Lallante, Agent Xero and other high profile members of EOE joined m0o as did other EOE members.
As for what their independence is I do not know but the fact is that NOW they are the same corp whatever was in past or will be in future. -- Champion of user friendlieness and proper information distribution Defender of newbies EVE knowledgeBase |

Upgrading this to a confirmed kill:
Ron1n and Leishy(sp?) in two Armageddons taking down the two Dominix ships of j0rt and Ywev.
1 of the Dominix battleships was thought to be running a MWD - no further info at this point.

Raudka - i think we're talking at cross purposes. This may become clear over time.

Yep its true :) fair play to RUS. Was a fair fight no underhanded play. We were just outgunned plain and simple. Take the rough with the smooth tho, none of us have illusions about the fact that everyone will lose a ship from time to time. RUS were better on the day and they deserved to win. See you again RUS :P

Its worth emphasising that RUS are no "n00bs" - not by any stretch of the imagination.
They've been well organised for a very long time and operate well in teams. Their prediliction for the quieter regions of Curse and Fountain (at al) and their low-activity on the english-forums here (and elsewhere) have granted them a low-profile.
That shouldn't be mistaken for low-achievement though.
Their PvP experience is extensive, their favoured race ships always being Amarri - Mallers particularly and they have the production capabilities for all of the premier cruisers for all races.
RUS are a "big" Corp and an experienced one, highly motivated, well organised and incredibly difficult to infiltrate (Unless you speak good Russian).
They should be rated as "Formidable" in military terms and with a strong financial foundation they could suffer loses at the battleship level without serious impact on their Corporate viability.

TerraDyne News. All the news thats fit to Etherburst!
In an interview today J0rt confirmed that a skirmish with RUS corp led to the destruction of the Dominix Battleships belonging to himself and Ywev. Whilst both pilots escaped unscathed the loss of two of the four flagship BBs from the M0o fleet will be a hard blow to the pirate clan.
J0rt told this reporter that 2 RUS Armageddon battleships warped in and engaged Ywev. Armed with 1400 artillery guns the two Armageddons made short work of the stricken battleship. J0rt arrived in time to see his wingmate's ship explode before being targetted himself and destroyed inside of 4 seconds.
A spokesman from an unnamed Armageddon producing corporation announced that they were very pleased with the performance of their ships. However, all Armageddon battleships are due to be recalled to solve a small power fluctuation which appears to be triggered by mounting 7 large turrets and 8 weapon boosters to a level 1 battleship. "This is a primary rank battleship. It obviously has no business being so hideously overtaxed. But some people always go for the biggest bang for their ISKs", our source reported. "We're looking into the issue right now before something 'bad' happens out there."
