I'm just wondering how/why Initiative. seems to be steamrolling over -A- lately. The alliances are about the same size. -A- and AAA Citizens have lost many systems. Is IT supporting Initiative.? When does the failscade stop? Just curious. *eats popcorn*

Youch. That's not even mentioning their pets AAA Citizens and En Garde. What in heck is going on here? Who moved AAA's cheese?

The short answer is that we log in and undock and they don't, and since we don't see any -A- in space, we're taking their stations.

What has happened should be considered a cautionary tale for any alliance. We, in the rank and file, have been utterly surprised at the lack of resistance. All I can assume is that -A- and their minions simply became complacent and were unable to mount an effective response. I do know that there was a well organized 'bug out' at the beginning of the campaign consisting of a movement of around 50 freighters/jump freighters. Sadly, this appears to have been the most organized and successful op that -A- mounted. I suspect they realized that they had simply alienated too many of the major players to depend on help from the majors and simply chose to cut their losses.
-A- attempted a 'denial of home space' strategy that had no significant effect on our operations or logistics. It appears that even those paltry attempts have tapered off.We have been operating in LGK , their new home system, regularly for over a week. I led the first small unit probe of LGK and couldn't draw a fight even though we were out numbered over 10 to 1. That leads me to believe that rank and file morale is low and that -A- leadership has no real interest in combat. Several successful hot drops may have had something to do with that.
only my opinion. Good Hunting

well that and possibly the fact Init aren't the only one attacking. Half of eve seems to have deciede to take out -A-. It's sad to see noone able to mount a succesful invasion these days without calling in all of their allies to help which doesn't just go for this conflict but rather a general observation.

Most of em aren't blue to each other actually, let alone allies. They're just all killing the same alliance. Like a vulture and a hyena and a lion all eating a dead antelope. Isn't Discovery Channel awesome?
