Nothing important, they just received what they deserved. Remember the old story ? 2,5 years ago they betrayed his northern allies and they went to bed with eXBob.
Everyone tell to them, -A- will pay for this an another betrayal and Bob (IT) will backstab them.
They was alone who try to save their ally, when exbob dissapeared and changed to Kenzoku (now knowing them IT) when needed to help.
It is the time for payback from IT because -A- tried to save them, when northern invasion purge south and killed the Kenzoku. Now the time came and IT made a simple clean cut, a backstab, what we told sometimes.
But -A- deserve this. We are not sorry for it. Who betraying their friends, does not deserve something else, than betrayal.

well it didn't happen exactly like that. you are omitting that the 'help' -A- sent to kenny was more of a token force, and had no real chance of success. if i where IT i would want revenge. You don't read sigs do you? |

No, that's happened exactly. -A- sent force to save kenny, nothing else. They was the only one allies, who did. Nothing matter is, they did success or not. Now showed the ExBob they are just the junk of eve. But i wrote, -A- deserved their fate, because they were the first who betrayed their old northern and russian friends and went to the hatred Bob bed, who just waited when could backstab them and drop away such as used rag.

Your story is kind of far fetched. Two or more years is ancient history in Eve. Those alliances don't even exist anymore. I think it has more to do with a couple alliances which wanted to expand (primarily Initiative) seeing that -A- was weak and overextended, with no allies outside of pet alliances En Garde and AAA Citizens. Also, they saw how easily Atlas went down and decided, what the heck, let's do this thing.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that the "coalition" currently steamrolling -A- is made up of alliances belong to NC. Neither Goons or Morsus Mihi or any of the classic NC members is showing up regularly on killmails of -A- members or POSes in the contested regions. Or was your point more that NC is not actively helping -A- because of this supposed betrayal from years back?
I'm kind of surprised though that -A- is not able to put up a better fight in their home systems. I thought they had a pretty nasty and large cap fleet available, from what I remember of the Providence War this summer. Did it go boom or is it not being deployed or what?
And there go eight more systems today in the epic failscade.

Writing is on the wall. Bye bye -A-. It was nice knowing you.

Edited by: NeoKarn on 09/10/2010 02:39:22 From the point of view of a grunt on the ground who just fleets up to shoot stuff.
The Initiative really seemed to be surrounded by enemies or neuts on all sides. Atlas had fallen an it looked to me that we were next. -A- was sounding out alliances to see if they could attack us and WN, xxdeathxx were looking decidedly unfriendly an IT was a distant allie that may or may not help us.
So with nothing to lose we attacked.
With the overwhelming success of the opening two weeks of the campaign I think everyone else realised that -A- today was a paper tiger and here was a chance to remove them from catch. I don't think our leaders expected all these other alliances would come an join in.
To be honest the lack of defense and the poor quality of the -A- fleets was a huge shock to me, i really expected more than drake blobs and bombers. Now after a slight pause in the campaign (we ran out of easy to reach targets) to resupply we are back on the attack again.
While we have seen nothing big from -A- the few pilots that are trying to make some sort of defense seem a lot better co-ordinated. I guess that shows there are at least a few decent PvP'ers left in -A-
I don't see a failscade for -A- in the future but i do see a lot of changes an a leaner -A- to fight against in stain in the future. That will be fun :-)

The Initiative is simply re-clearing the space for their new pets "Interstellar Alcoholic Conglomerate" to dwell in. The Initiative always felt that IAC was wrongly displaced by AAA and secretly vowed years ago to one day reclaim the space, I'm happy to see their master plan finally come to fruition and I, for one, welcome our new inebriated overlords.

m0o is an old school myth, that belongs to those glorious days back in 2003/2004. I dont think they would have been as successfull nowdays as they were then tbfh. the game is different now.

Why does going for the 3rd or 4th most powerful block demostrate how "power full" one really is?
