We continue our Community Spotlight series which looks at notable individuals, corporations, alliances and fansites. Since the earliest days of EVE Online we had enthusiastic players organizing radio shows and podcasts to entertain their fellow pilots with music, shows, live events and also with developer interviews and other solid information.
Currently at least two major radio stations and several podcasts exist for the benefit of our players and we would like to present you the earliest and still largest of all.
The fourth spotlight is on EVE Radio. Lights on!

I don't listen a lot of radio, but when I do, I listen EVE Radio

Eve Radio's pretty good.
And the premium supporter scheme is pretty good too. -ú30 a year, with entry into a draw for a steam game (30ish value) every month, and HD everything.
And you don't need to listen through their site. You can hook up using winamp/vlc/fstream on an ipod, and so on.

One of my favorite memories was "Accidentally" podding the DJ while hunting for something to kill on a Pod the DJ event and winning ISK with my corpmate who spotted the capsule!
Apparently a former corpmate from years ago was only a couple jumps away trying to hunt down the DJ and had won earlier in the day, so it was a big old reunion too!

And there's so much more to come. Make sure to check the respective channels as well as the main ER Channel ingame. We do have a ER Rock & Metal channel as well, which I'm in constantly, since I'm a rock/metal DJ. You can catch me Tuesdays at 1900-2100 GMT, and sometimes in between. I also have a twitter, keep an eye on that as well to see when I'm on! Just type in "ER Rock & Metal" without quotations to join the rock! |

Another spotlight on one of the things that makes EVE great. A cool bunch of guys providing an awesome service. Chribba, Dotlan, Eve radio. Anyone remind me how pandemic legion managed to get themselves listed with people who've positively contributed towards eve?

Uhm... no. Every serious DJ hates ******* people making ******* requests. Requests are for terrible terrestrial **** radio stations catering to the elderly. The kind of station were you get listeners phone in and talk **** on the air.

EVE Radio is basically awesome.
I've had so much fun over the years with the likes of DJs Wiggles, Sam and Daddy but everyone involved with EVE Radio are great people to do all they do for our community.
