hehe that was very fun hehe and i even partisaparted anad shot the gallente npc poilece and ther navy it was fun and we killed them all and thery dident come back i suspected they are NOW SCARED OF OUR NELY FORGED CALDARI FLEET hehe

Ok, to clear up any confusion this is what happened. I was on the Caldari side of the issue, adn the IS might be a better place for this, but with as little editorializing as possible, here it is:
Caldari gathered at Caldari Prime in Luminaire for a peaceful demonstration of mourning for those killed in the Gallente-Caldari war. Among those who arrived were Jera, well known Caldari Nationalist and CEO of Drink Starsi, and Kehmor of the Venal Rangers. Jera has a very low standing with the Gallente Federation, and Kehmor is an outlaw. When they arrived they were both attacked by the Gallente Navy forces present at Caldari Prime(incidentally, Jera made it the whole way there through Gallente space in a badger, i bow to her piloting skills.) Thier ships were destroyed. They both made it clear that thier wish was for it to end there, with the protest going on, and so It should have.
However...
Several of the pilots present, understandably(even though I disagree with thier actions), retaliated against the Gallente Navy for this outrage(/me slaps himself, no editorializing!!). After several minutes and ship losses on both sides, the Caldari who attacked the Navy were still there, and the Galletne Navy was not there.
Now, on a personal note, I think its unfortunate that this occured, both that the Gallente navy attacked, and that there was a counter attack from what should have been a peaceful protest. I would like to note that I don't believe that the majority of the pilots present attacked the Navy, and that even though it may have seemed to be ruined, I want to commend those pilots that restrained themselves for remembering what the event was supposed to be about.

Caldari = Kill my Brother/Sister I'll slap your face, well thats what my race means to me, and it always will.
Might I add relations were not helped by the Gallente amoung us at Caldari Prime either, althought at the same time i can not condone the actions of some of the Caldari there either. everyone needs to take a step back and look at what happened tonite.
We were assembled to mourne loses and again the Caldari race suffered more loses(althought we did have some Gallente Navy over) we also lost ships and standings even though the Gallente Navy atacked us during a peaeful service.
Think about it the Gallente Navy have no respect for the Caldari race as a whole. I for one will no longer carry out any of their mission to haul their crap around space.

hehe But still this is the first time i have ever been in a fleet battle on tranquility and it was very fun and actualy it feeled like RP to me very munch cause we were at Caldari Prime etc we kicked the gallente butt's they dident return so we won that battle hehe CALDARI RULZ

obiesly no one bothered telling us Gallente Nationals that there was going to be a fight (or that a protest was even scheduled) if anyone had I would have been there to protest the Piracy commited by the Caldari citezens towards us Peace loving Gallante
I am against the Caldari-Gallente Hatred although my Parents was attacked by Caldari in the past when traveling peacefully in Caldari space and would have been part of any peacefull protest to this hatred

First of all G4ce, I was there in support of a peaceful demonstration. When I got there all I saw was a massacre against my own people, with about 5-10 Ravens shooting about 1 or 2 Dominixes at most, and although the Military had no right to attack Jera, that does not give some people like Daniel Jackson the right to start shouting 'KILL ALL GALLENTE', 'GALLENTE SHOULD ALL DIE!!!'. How the hell would you think we feel?
Second of all G4ce, you should have also looked at what happened. DUI Bet actually attacked the Navy Sergeant that destroyed Jera first (he's got the log of his ship being shot down by the navy to prove it). To tell him to die and call him Gallente scum when he is in fact a Caldari Civire betting organiser who went out of his way to attack the Caldari navy in response to the attack on Jera, losing his own Merlin in the process, is very harsh. Say what you think about my people, but don't criticize Caldari that work for a Gallente corporation that actively supports Caldari events as well.
Besides, you've used DUI services in the past, so don't tell us to die, you wouldn't be able to win stuff anymore...

Members of both sides died that day, not just Caldari.
The actions of The Rising Storm corporation were pretty intolerable too - insulting the Caldari on a day when the monument should be respected... leaving messages on jetcans around the monument.
We Gallente should be mourning the undesirable and pointless deaths of at least 1 Caldari pilot and at least 3 crews of the Gallente police who should not have been ordered, in my opinion, to interfere with a peaceful gathering.

I disagree Jera's actions have marked as an outlaw in the federation.
Any attempt to access our space (Whether its to perform more crimes against the Federation or for any other less violent reasons) should be prevented by destroying any ship she might be flying and escorting her escape pod back to Caldari space.
Once thing I would like to know though; was the fight between Federation Navy ships and Caldari Pod Pilots or between Gallente Pod Pilots and Caldari Pod Pilots?
If itÆs the first then its not surprising the Caldari won, Pod Piloted ships are far more powerful.
If itÆs the second then to bad I missed it, im certain my Megathron or Raven could have been put to good use.
I however must admit that I am suspicious as to how this ôday of mourningö went down.

I was there for part of it, and my corpmate saw the whole thing - they tried to apprehend a pair of Caldari outlaws, which angered the rest of the Caldari gathering, despite they two pilots' requests for calm.
They should have been apprehended peacefully and after the meeting - I would request an investigation into who ordered those ships to interfere in the meeting - it was obviously a heavy-handed and needlessly careless (not to mention callouse) order to give.

Ok, a few items:
I. It was Caldari pod pilots against Gallente Navy ships.
II. There were more than 2 Gallente Battleships present at one time, and they were reinforced more than once I believe, though I'm not 100% sure.
III. While the Caldari force present was quite large, the majority did not participate in the fighting, it was only a few pilots that attacked the Gallente, from the trails of missiles, I'd say 3 or 4 battleships at most.

I think that you will find that in the last war we held you off to a stalemate despite being the weaker underdog. After all we had just broke away from your federation (aka enslavement) with no proper logistics or even our own state.

It is not my inability to win a race but my inability to back the winner of any of the races.
DUI BET is only a puppet for Matt Iverse, created in a lab and programmed only to work during the Caldari Championships. I am surpised he has not been put on ice or destroyed by Matt.

You were obviously so blind not to notice the DUI cargo container floating around that contained the rest of my equipment that you didn't notice me attack the Gallente sergeant either. 2. The other edited kill log above was yours re-edited by me. (to show how simply it can be done) Sry if you or anyone else thought I was implying that you used that specific log as an ORG.

Paw, the reason these guys don't know who the Minmantar are is because there is NO race called Minmantar, we are called Minmatar. There is no 'n' between the 'a' and the 't' in our race name.
Get it right next time, otherwise we won't help you if you can't spell our race name...

The entire situation was a tragedy. Both sides of the conflict could have acted with the greater restraint that such a day required. The unspoken cease-fire that was in effect was also broken again when Kehmor (a known criminal but who still ventured in a pod to observe the days ceremony) was podded by someone in the system.

Might I add relations were not helped by the Gallente amoung us at Caldari Prime either, althought at the same time i can not condone the actions of some of the Caldari there either. everyone needs to take a step back and look at what happened tonite.
We were assembled to mourne loses and again the Caldari race suffered more loses(althought we did have some Gallente Navy over) we also lost ships and standings even though the Gallente Navy atacked us during a peaeful service.
Think about it the Gallente Navy have no respect for the Caldari race as a whole. I for one will no longer carry out any of their mission to haul their crap around space.

How ungrateful those Caldaris are.
We liberated the Caldari Prime from opression, and thus freed those under the evil rulers. And when they are celebrating their freedom, and our troops keeping them safe from criminals, they attack us without no reason.
It seems that there are some insurgents hiding within the now freed people. We need more troops and equipment to fight these insurgents.

Though we of course hope to get help from our freedomloving friends the Minmatar in the tragic event of a new war we should stand a fair chance even without them due to our newly developed superweapon of the Minmantar.
