The changes are lazy and lack imagination. It probably took an afternoon or less to hack off the loot tables and commit for testing. Way I see it if nobody says anything people might get a little too comfortable with these changes.

As a side note, CCP's experiment with removing drone poo obviously did what they wanted. Maybe a little TOO much. Compound drone changes and forevergeddon its no wonder barge balancing is in order. PvP is getting a wee bit expensive, the good ol days of 20m battle-cruisers are long gone. Talk crap as much as you want about drones but they kept costs down and promoted conflict. Nobody cared about losing 20 mil battlecruisers. Good incentive for new pilots to give PvP a go. Now people seem to avoid it like the plague because it costs a lot more. We all want more people to PvP right?

While I understand that gun mining had to be removed so minerals come from actual miners, there is no indication for when the drone regions will be populated with content to be on par with pirate regions.

No drops, no officer or hauler spawns makes for a very dull drone region. Nobody bothers to salvage due to lack of drops. That random chance to get awesome stuff is a powerful carrot. 0% chance to get anything ever kinda kills any desire to PvE.

So when are you going to do something about this? People actually live out there (shocking!) so please don't stick this issue in the whenever pile of stuff to fix.
