While I understand that gun mining had to be removed so minerals come from actual miners, there is no indication for when the drone regions will be populated with content to be on par with pirate regions.
No drops, no officer or hauler spawns makes for a very dull drone region. Nobody bothers to salvage due to lack of drops. That random chance to get awesome stuff is a powerful carrot. 0% chance to get anything ever kinda kills any desire to PvE.
So when are you going to do something about this? People actually live out there (shocking!) so please don't stick this issue in the whenever pile of stuff to fix. |

Every region should have a purpose.
Not always 'Unique', but some purpose all the same
If not, why not just drop the region from the database?
Use those resources to perma-reinforce known choke point systems where big fights can kick off (because those regions have reasons for fighting to occur in them).

Dronelands will likely be quite popular with drone co-op fights in Dust. There might be something worthwhile on those plants not yet found which all other parts of space don't have. |

Agree with needing a purpose but some people live there. Let's just flip and switch and... Sorry IRC you need a new home. Your sov is for a new game play mechanic to enhance PvP. 
Personally, I don't care about regions being perfectly equal. Raw ISK is cool and all but it would be nice for the Drone regions to have a little more depth than that.
PvE in generally is boring as hell in null (and rest of the game mind you) but that's a whole other discussion. This is really about incentives. I would prefer different space with a theme over **** space. |

I would say give the drone land some love in the form of ded drone sites. The drone region should be filled with these. DS in a drone research ore corp division with a unique LP store that offers special drone bpcs and materials for such through LP. Basically, make it have content similar to other regions, just drone specific.
Heck, drone epic arc with a reward of a special drone assembly pos array? |

Maybe if your region hadn't been home to 23/7 botters for the last few years CCP would be a little more worried about your wallet. |

The changes are lazy and lack imagination. It probably took an afternoon or less to hack off the loot tables and commit for testing. Way I see it if nobody says anything people might get a little too comfortable with these changes.
As a side note, CCP's experiment with removing drone poo obviously did what they wanted. Maybe a little TOO much. Compound drone changes and forevergeddon its no wonder barge balancing is in order. PvP is getting a wee bit expensive, the good ol days of 20m battle-cruisers are long gone. Talk crap as much as you want about drones but they kept costs down and promoted conflict. Nobody cared about losing 20 mil battlecruisers. Good incentive for new pilots to give PvP a go. Now people seem to avoid it like the plague because it costs a lot more. We all want more people to PvP right? |

CCP doesn't deal in fundamentals, so expecting them to make well thought out changes is like expecting a monkey to write the next Apple operating system.
Nerfing drones across the board sucks, because static DED sites are crap now, and drone missions suck too.
It would help if CCP had someone working on content full-time, but if such a person exists, I don't know who it is. This game should be loaded with hundreds of sites and missions per level/faction.
Tears will be shed and pants will need to be changed all round. |

To be honest after the last three years of non-stop botting I'm ok with CCP ignoring you, just like they will after they nerf tech and goonies cry, just like they did after they nerfed supers and the ruskies cried. If you do something enough to warrant a nerf you are going to be ignored awhile, and when it comes to the isk creation machine that was the drone lands you ******* earned it. |
