I would like to know how long it would take a Carrier pilot with all the recommended skills at recommended levels to train for a Supercarrier with all the recommended skills at recommended levels.
I'd appreciate some help with this, simply pointing out differences in the requirements/recommendations would be appreciated. CCRES is recruiting pilots who want to live in WSpace/Wormholes. Fill out an application here! |

Edited by: Mona X on 03/10/2010 03:38:30 Shortest way is as long as it takes to train fighters and fighter-bombers to 5. Carriers have longest jump range, so carrier pilot might not have JDC to 5, so this too. Then it's anoter month to get res calibrations to 5.

Meh, they're not that special anymore that you need everything to V.
As said, Fighter bombers would be the most important skill to get for a decent carrier pilot. Guess you might as well grab Projected Electronic Counter Measures as well while you're at it.

PVE carrier's don't have to be all 5 skills, hell don't have to be fleet spec. BUt....once you get to running carriers people gonna start to wonder why you aren't on cap ops real quick (no likees pos save ops...thye still hae to get done though so more on them quicker done). Skills to get your carrier reimbursed in any way highly recommended to reduce up keep costs.
With super caps....either start to make the SC babysitter now or make some money and look for a deal on a buyable char. Remember super caps are guilded cages...once in them you are in them till they blow up, you sell em or.....have a babysitter char to sit in them while the main has fun doing other things.
