I have done a google search, since it is not in SurivlalGuide.org.
Only hits I can come up with are about 6 months old when the mission was bugged. Can anyone give me insights on DPS to expect, triggers, what is needed to be killed to end mission, etc?
Thanks. |

I ran it yesterday. Did not identify triggers as I was trying to stay in one piece. As for DPS, I ran into mercs, angels and guristas. In the last room after killing the target mission is marked complete.
Comparable to an Extravaganza with mixed NPCs.
It's one of those where the target appears in the first room then flees. Next time I will try and warp scramble and kill and see if it counts. |

I ran this yesterday in a gang of three. You come across different types of NPC's so it's best to fit an omni tank and in the second pocket there is heavy ECM, it's also good to supply yourself with missiles or similar with different types of resist damage. The trigger will be found at every pocket but you cannot destroy it until the fourth and final pocket as it warps out before you can kill it (which is also the trigger).
I did not run into any of the bug problems reported a while back and mission completed with no problems either.
Loot and bounties are quite good, comparable to Guristas Extraveganza as Orlacc stated. your respect is meaningless, and i only represent my constituents - not crybabies with entitlement complexes

I've had it three times today. The npcs you come up against are randomish - I came up against serpentis, blood raiders, guristas and angels each time I ran it but they weren't always the same types or in the same places. Be careful if you have a salvage alt as there may be a time based trigger for some rats - you leave a room thinking its clear and your alt runs into more rats. Bounties are very good but due to sheer number of rats it takes time. |

not true. i insta popped the "trigger" in each pocket...
I note that i ran into bloods/serpentis/gurista and angels in this mission.
finnaly a non generic mission.
also on a side note. you can bm the game and warp off and come back at sniper range for all the rooms. |

Also got it couple days before for the first time. What did I found: on arriving: Serpentis, 1st room: Blood Raiders, 2nd room: Serpentis, 3rd room: Guristas and Blood Raiders. This one was the worst, as right from the start got scrambled by Dire Pithis and constantly jammed by two Nullifiers, it took few minutes even to send my drones on scramblers. After killing named NPC the mission flagged as completed, but there still are few waves of NPC battleships if you want, triggered by the last one of previous wave. Decent bounties - totally 33mil incl. mission reward, loot/salvage approx 20mil. But took a bit too long because of distant gates and npcs being spawned too far in the last room (like 115-120km), spent on that almost 1hr. |

I noticed that the Gate Key is NOT consumed upon activation of the gate . Also i noticed that after a new spawn in the pocket 3 , i could take the gate freely . It let me thinks that none of the gate are actually locked (aside of the first one where you need the Gate key , but not ship-locked) and that you can just blitz it through the end , and complete it just by killing this one BC . Haven't test it yet , someone can confirm or infirm this ?
Also yeah , nice bounty mission . |

First, a shout-out to the CCP PvE crew (Team Commie Pinkos?) GÇö thank you for this mission, it's entertaining of itself and I welcome the novelty of having new mission to run
The first gate is locked until (a) all NPCs are dead and (b) someone with the key unlocks it. The remaining gates are locked until all the NPCs are dead. The only "blitz" for this mission is to kill the target NPC in the last room and leave. But then you leave those juicy 1M+ ISK battleships GÇö being Gallente, you get to blow most of them up long before they get to shoot you, so it's basically free ISK. Some of the salvage from this mission is attractive too.
Watch out for the many different range that NPCs will maintain. Angel Cartel of course like short-range attacks, some of the Serpentis will get in close to use blasters, others will stay at 80-100km sniping with rails, and there are a couple of tackle frigates.

I remember leaving a few rats in one of the rooms, so I would guess that only the first room is locked.

From my recall of this mission... Get gate key in first pocket. while burning to acceleration gate.. shoot trigger and jump. Do the same thing for remaining pockets until final pocket in which you must kill the trigger for completion.
Very blitz able. I completed in Tengu with 10mn burner no issue. Standard tank 1 x Invul and 1 x Photon.
FInal pocket does however have a few jamming Frigates you should worry about if you cant tank. |

Well, judging by what I faced compared with everyone who has posted here and write ups on eve-survival, the spawns in this mission are completely random.
The jist of this mission is omni tank and be able to deal omni damage in some fashion as you will likely face a couple ships from each pirate faction throughout the 4 pockets.
Kudos to CCP for both a new mission and the added bit of variability. It's a bit of excitement in a mission to not know exactly what you're about to face. :) |

I hope they make more missions like this. Being able to look up the mission and know exactly what to expect has become alarmingly too simple. The only danger in L4's nowadays seems to be when you first start doing them, but after a while, you're more worried about watching for probes on d-scan than the missions' "high-threat targets". Even scram/web frigs are more an anoyance than real danger if you've done the mission a couple of times. Keep this going CCP, nice work. |

if you clear a pocket and warp out (had to empty coargohold) when you warp back in there will be a different set of rats there, (so you can double the amount of rats in a mission if your there for the bounties)works twice for each pocket. like someone else said fit for omni tank and second pocket can be a pain due to ecm, sat there for 20mins constantly locked in a torp boat waiting for drones to chew on BS and throwing volleys when i could get a breif lock. id probably take a cnr with fofs in next time. mission is flagged complete when you kill the pirate in last pocket.

What type of mission is this? Not a standard security mission as you can accept it remotely? I was looking at it from the "agent finder", was an agent I never used but had faction for...
I still have it offered, but can't look at it till I'm home from work. Thanks.

The "accept remotely" thingy , i think , is a goal for CCP : To get every single mission who does NOT provide an item to be able to be accepted remotely , and to make every mission who does NOT require an item in order to be completed to be able to be completed remotely .
Would cut a lot of warp-time , which would be GREAT .

Have had this mission for the first time, so some info for anyone putting together listsof possible spawns. Initial zone-in had Angels 2 Gistum Marauders, 2 Gistum Liquidators 2 Gist Malakim, 3 Gist Nephilim First Gate lead to Guristas 4 Pithatis Enforcer 3 Pith Eliminator Second Gate had mixed Serpentis, Guristas 2 Corelior Cannoneer, a Corelior Artillery 4 Pith Conquistador Also had a spwn once the inital ships were down 4 Pith Extinguisher Third Gate had mixed Angels, Serpentis, turrets from 4 different factions Too man ships for me to make a list, sorry. Tank couldn't hold - killed the target, bookmarked it for loot/salvage, and got out of there after making several attempts to warp out, recover, come back in. The ship count appeared ot be going up, so I suspect there were additional spawns occuring. |

I did this earlier today and the resists are Kinetic, Thermal, and EM you should equip. Didn't seem to be much explosion, I just equipped a t2 kinetic/therm/em hardener and did fine.
Used an Apoc, only had trouble with the first (warp in) location, the Macheriels for some reason took forever for me to kill. Other than that, I chewed through it pretty easy, make sure to prioritize the jammers. Some stuff spawns out to 60-80km so prepare to either have that range or be able to close in. Did it with a buddy but the split was like 15 mil each in bounty/mission completion payoff, and about 15-18 mil each in salv/loot. Make sure your salvager brings the gate key to loot beyond room one.
Other have said they were spawned on after they went back for salvage, but that didn't happen to me, perhaps they didn't wait long enough for the spawns to trigger? You can rush this mission by grabbing the key at the first entry and going straight for the boss. So if you hop the gate before a spawn triggers you'll have it waiting for you if you try and salvage, obviously. Usually the gates were 20k out from warp in to each room, and by the time my Apoc reached it (112ms) all spawns were killed in perfect timing. |

Got this mission today.
As someone else already said, I did find it listed on eve.survival.org, but had to root for it some. Towards the top of the main page, where it says, "Categories (needs to be populated):" .. I clicked "Level 4" and it was in that list.
I'd come to the forum to report what almost happened to me, when I found this thread. I'm doing 4's solo in a Drake. The ship is solid, just slow, so I've been leaving missions with multiple gates (when it feels about time, before cans in completed pockets start disappearing) and fly back to base to grab my Noctis.
And, as has already been reported by someone else, be careful on this mission when/if you leave and return. I'd cleard all NPC's from the initial warp-in, Gate 1 and Gate 2, leaving the last room until I'd finished with salvage.
At the warp-in point, only the wrecks I expected to find. I sucked them all up and jumped through Gate 1. SURPRISE! I'm look'n down the barrel of a butt-load of enemies from around 15-20k. Of course, they all immediately lock and start chewing on the Noctis. I pack a cloaking device on the ship, but was so flabbergasted over the turn of events, I didn't even think to try triggering it. Thankfully, none of the NPC's were, evidently, web nor scramble capable. When warp -finally- kicked-in, they'd chewed the shield down good.
When I returned with the Drake, I had to fight my way back to where I'd quit prior. Again, I left the last room alone and got back to salvaging. Nothing spawned again. Got back to the Drake and finished the last room.
So, from what has already been said .. this mission is designed such and isn't malfunctioning.
Sweet loot on this one! From bounties alone, if I added correctly, I got $42,148,503 .. throw in the agent reward of $2,400,000 for a total of $44,548,503. Too, aside from the normal salvage/cargo fodder, I got 26 Armor Plates and 7 Tritanium Bars, which I've yet to sell. |

Just FYI, no loot from Scarlet's Station.
That's not all that surprising when you consider that the mission pays out over 35 million in bounties.
If you also take the time to salvage everything you can rake in well over 50 million total or more.
Thanks, CCP, for a fun new mission that pays well. |

Just completed for the first time.
Wasn't sure about how tough this would be, so I used my Trusty Navy Scorpion, with omni-resists, and all missile types in cargohold, to be on the safe-side.
A bit less than 1 hour later, I finished. Wasn't as tough as Enemies Abound 5 of 5, but I did have to keep my Large Shield Booster running for a while in rooms 3 and 4. Used up most of my Heavy Cap Booster charges too. This is what I came up against:
1st Room: Angels, 7 x Battleships, 5 x Cruisers/Battlecruisers (not sure about Cruiser numbers). Gate key in the final battleship wreck. 2nd Room: Guristas, 4 x Battleships, 5 x Cruisers/Battlecruisers (not sure about Cruiser numbers). Battleships jam. 3rd Room: Guristas + Serpentis. Serpentis = Battleships, Guristas = Cruisers. No jamming from Guristas. Another Serpentis Battleship spawn after killing initial Battleships. 4th Room: Guristas + Bloodraiders. Lost count of Blood Battleships (too many!), but multiple spawns. Heavy Jamming by Guristas Elite Cruisers. Guristas Frigates Scramble. Best to run away from Station and let rats try and follow you. Dont let Bloods get in range.
Missile Battleship is best for this mission. Either Fury Cruise Missile Navy Scorpion or Javelin Torpedo Navy Raven I would say. Tengu not so great due to the need to deal good omni-damage + drones, which a Caldari batleship does best.
I didn't get such good bounties though, even though I hung around in last room and killed all Blood Battleship spawns. I got about 28million in bounties total. This mission really does seem to randomly spawn different pirate factions in different rooms.
It's a great mission, and quite fun to do... Keep it coming, CCP! |

Was going nicely until an unexpected reinforcement group of three BSs spawned in the third pocket and popped my Noctis before she could warp out. Now on my fourth in a week... and with it went any profit from the mission itself. Other than that, it's definitely one that I'll add to my list of acceptable missions. Though for lower-skilled characters like me it's a bit on the difficult side in comparison to the average level 4.
In the meantime, I'm starting to wonder if I should just stockpile a half dozen or so fitted Noctis somewhere...
Oh, as for loot -- I scooped up a cargo can with a basic implant somewhere. Otherwise it was more or less nonexistent for me. Though the salvage wasn't bad. |

Did the mission four times with my main character (Tengu HML fit), each time making sure to come back to each pocket a few times until I was pretty sure I had killed every possible respawn (which do seem pretty random).
Net result : 48m in bounties each time.
And I definitely found ships from all 4 factions each time, no Sanshas though, ever. |

I really love this mission. The only thing that would make it better would be if the spawns were a bit more ship random. i.e. make it impossible/difficult to have a mission survival guide to this. You are kind of foolish to run L4's without looking at the survival guide but frankly, I'd rather there WAS NOT a survival guide. It's all supposed to be a surpise to the Pilot, right?

I ran this mission a couple days ago. Mixed bag of npcs, i had every faction spawn for me. One thing i noticed is that when i ran out of missles (warped in to start without very many) in the second room and warped out, all the npcs respawned. Needless to say i tried this multiple times, and lo and behold it worked. I made about 40 million in bounties, and another 30ish in loot/salvage. A very very profitable missions, with no "hidden" triggers (except when you kill the last ship of each group, then another group spawns). If you get this mission then congrats on a big pay off. |

I spent the last week farming this mission. I didn't take comprehensive notes as I was spending most of the time watching the baseball playoffs. Anyway, here's my impression: I used a Scorpion Navy Issue and overtanked it with Mag and Heat amps and an invul. Even when aggroing entire rooms I don't think my shields went to below about 98% (95 if I didn't circle the gate). My first time through I bookmarked each room. Doing that allowed my combat ship and Noctis to go directly to any room I wanted once I made it through room one each day. As I was farming and not always available to play, I just did whatever rooms I could kill and salvage and then came back later in the day to kill/salvage more. As long as you leave Scarlet alive, the mission will spawn again on the daily reset. Each day, I got between 30-35M ISK in bounties (I only got to get the 5M bounty on Scarlet on the last day). Salvage was okay, depending on what spawns I got, and loot was poor (since I was letting Scarlet live, I didn't see the implant drop. With Scarlet still alive I couldn't salvage the last room. Even with a tank-fitted Noctis, I was getting hammered pretty hard by her. If I was bored, I could come back with SNI salvage fit, but it wasn't worth the effort. Heck, not looting or salvaging at all doesn't really affect ISK% that much in this one. I found that if I went through all the rooms, then came back around once, I was able to clear all the spawns for my Noctis. For me, either room one or two would have a delayed spawn. The third always had a delayed one. The last room had many spawns, but I didn't see any of them delayed. If you farm and bookmark like I did, if you do run into a delayed spawn with your salvager, just swap ships, go directly to the toom to kill it, and salavage again. Note that you do not have to use the gates...just go directly to your bookmark. I experienced Bloods, Gurista/Serps, and Angels. So I just kept a few thousand of each missile type in the hold and swapped out as needed. As there just aren't that many frigates, I just kept hobs/hammers in the drone bay rather than worrying about Warriors for the Angels. In the end, a great mission to farm it a heavy tanked missile ship while cooking dinner, watching TV, working on a spreadsheet, or whatever. One week, about 250M in bounties, loot, & salvage. |

I did this mission about 3 times. On the third time the Serpentis spawned at the gate. just before I killed the last few NPCS I warped in my Salvage Alt. The Serpentis Dissapeared then Angels warped in. Not sure if it was a bug or not but it was a nice surprise. Mission can be easily done with a Mach and a CNR if anyone is wierd like me. |

Ran this yesterday. Had to warpout midway due to having the wrong tank setup to handle Blooders. Came back and the Blooders were gone in the second room and replaced with Guristas.
Interesting mission, bit of a ***** if you're a newer player but otherwise it's definately one of the more challenging L4's. |

Thanks for the help. As far as this specific mission goes, its crazy and often respawns randomly. But you dont need anyones help, so why even join the discussion? PvE Extroadinaire in training. PvEve.com - Your one stop site for everything that isn't shooting capsuleers! - Coming Soon(tm) |

I've gotten this twice, and the difference between the two has been interesting. It does take a strong omnitank and multiple ammo types in general:
First time, did it in a Loki, which tanked with ease but took some time in the last room. Faced angels at the opening gate, Bloods in the first room, Serpentis in the second and Angels, Serpentis and Blood spawns in the last room. If make any move on Scarlett in the first room, she insta-warps. Never tried to target her in the second. After she falls in the final room, the mission is done but there seems to be 3-4 battleship spawns and you can collect bounties on those. There is also a spawn in the second room.
Second time, took my Vargur. Serpentis at the gate, then Bloods, then Serpentis, then Guristas and Serpentis in the final room. Got ultra-jammed by two Nullifiers and actually had to warp out to touch out my armor. When I returned to the first gate, there was a new Angel spawn! That was interesting, but I don't know if my return triggered it or if it is timed.
Can confirm that Scarlett's station drops nothing and takes a LOT of ammo. |

Just a few more notes: Guristas and Serps always show up. Bloods and Angels fill in the gaps. About 90% of the time the Guristas jam (sometimes the cruisers, sometimes the BSs, sometimes both). So when loading up ammo bring Kinetic, EM, and Explosive types, go a little heavier with the Kinetic since more Guristas and Serps show up, and definitely load in Kinetic FoF for what can be rather long jamming cycles. If farming, be very careful with your salvage ship. I've be absolutely sure that all the spawns were over and then 10-20 seconds after warping in with my Noctis, I get a spawn. You'll have enough time to warp out before getting blown up...but not if you stepped away or get hung up on a gate or something. As this one doesn't tend to drop a lot of good salvage or loot (I'd call it average), you can always skip this step. Still, a great mission to farm. Having BS killing ammo and drones definitely help on this one. My CNR completes the mission about 20% faster than my Tengu. |

I actually switched from my Domi to my Gila for this. it is easier to omni tank a shield tank. Of the top of my head I had a passive omni tank of just over 400. I had no problems. I did miss my 2x omni's in the mids, didn't realise just how big a difference they made. |

The npcs are random. So there can be jamming, sensor dampening, etc. Omni-tank is best and if you're using projectiles and/or missiles, bring a little bit of every damage type and change depending on what you're fighting. The dps isn't a whole lot, but if you fit to counter every possible thing they might throw at you, your tank can break if you don't know what to prioritize. It's a fun mission and can net you a lot of isk if you know what you're doing. I can complete this mission using a maelstrom with 1400mm t2 artillery with an omni-tank that's not cap stable at all, for what it's worth. I also fit a sensor booster to help with dampening and one ECCM in a mid slot and one in a low replacing a tracking enhancer. It's definitely not a mission for low sp pilots.

I had < 7mil SP when I did it. And the rewards were a lot higher back then. Weird part was when I came back in a noctis after the mission had green flagged Scarlet and her goons spawned in the second room. Needless to say my poor noc got popped and I petitioned it like a ****** when I should've been farming that s*** all day long. |

Sexy Moped wrote:I ran this yesterday in a gang of three.
Not sure if someone said this but it is possible to kill the trigger ship in the third pocket, and if you can I suggest doing so as she drops a decent implant if you kill her then.
Also this is an easy mission to farm isk because of the respawns in some spots. Although bringing friends along can make it tougher due to possibility of spawning more ships. |

the gurista room/respawns were a pain i recall. sat in a torp golem prema jammed for 25 min slowly trying to send in drones when i had a breif lock. remember thinking eccm or fof cruiser cnr would do a beter job. |

You can also kill her in the 2nd pocket with a high enough alpha which will net you an extra 5 million in bounty. You still have to kill her (again) in the 3rd+ room in order for the mission to complete. The implant doesn't drop in the 2nd room even if you alpha her.
I use a Mach with six named 1400s to pop Scarlet in one salvo. 10 million isk in bounties and a +3 implant for ~5 minutes of work.
You can tell me what is and isn't true when you pry the tinfoil from my cold, lifeless head.

Doable if you blitz it and pop Scarlet in room 3 first chance you get. There's no need to grind the rats once you have the gate key from room 1. If she escapes into the last room get ready to sit there forever trying to get a lock on with all the dampening going on. |

Ok found out how 2 get Max spawns in the mission
1) Do the 1st 3 rooms without ever shooting scarlet 2) Room 4 kill the initial spawn 3) In the 4th room 1st spawn after killing the initial ships wait for them to aggro you DO NOT SHOOT THEM 4) move to room 3->2->1 and each will have a spawn
Best mission for Farming
If u get angel ships in the 4th room u might get a re spawn when u warp back in |

im not sure if this was covered in replies above -
but the best part of this one is that if you can alpha (one-shot) the scarlet rat, it will respawn and you can kill it again, for twice the bounty :) |
