Actually, I've never really seriously played (and i started at release), because this lack of accountability made it very easy for anybody with too much money/too much spare time (gtcs) to pretend being a mastermind badass in a coldharshgrrrrniverse, when lack of said accountability only coddles his lower instincts and craving for schadenfreude.
I like gaming, not mingling with sociopaths (either in 0.0 alliance drama, alt baiting/scouting lowsec, etc etc)
I'm still subscrided because I really like flying around listening to Green Nebula from time to time, and maybe at some point there will be a game design within EvE providing interactive pvp fun that cannot be marred by the utter stupidity of multiple unaccountable-for accounts.

I wanted to reply to this thread sooner, by my wife was using my computer so that she could use a shill to improve her odds while playing an online game of poker.
Is she a bad person for doing this?
I think it is fine to have many alts in Eve. I use them cause the skill system is borked and I have adapted to this by having alts. So, if someone wants to try out a bit of scamming, or be a spy or even cheat at poker, I am in no position to point my finger at them.
