Any action, clicking on asteroid, PI clicking etc. has a distinct lag before operating, 2-3 seconds.

installation starts. gets till Create folder c:\....\CCP then nothing folder is there filled with Eve folder, that has two other folders with content nothing happens. Windows

CCP: If I find a bug in 1.2; And its the same bug as in 1.1; And I have bug reported it before;
Should I: 1) Do nothing as its already reported 2) Report it again 3) Close the old bug report and open a new one 4) Update the old report?
What if the bug report has been filtered? What if has not been filtered?
Just trying to not be a bug reporting troll

When you try to re-activate it you get a "This module is already active" error message even though if you try and use it it says "This module is currently offline"
This occurs across all three slot types and was tested and found across the following modules.. Salvager, Cloaking Device, Mag Scatt Amp II, Shield Power Relay II

The update was downloaded but it failed verification indicating that the file is corrupt. Would you like to download the file again?
You will not be able to enter the game until you download the update
I am unable to patch this. I have all the previous optional patches.
I have tried 4 times already.
Can CCP please link a direct download to this patch, your autoupdate system is not working.
Can you also in future always post DIRECT link's to the patch downloads, it is very well known that your auto update system fails a lot.
I can always stop paying the subscription :) If you prefer that CCP.

Auto Patching failed.
Went to repair tool and get the error:
ZeroDivisionError: float division
The repair client then hangs at 0.0% checksumming client.
Tried repair tool six times with the same result.
Win7 with all updates, Nvidia GTX 260 x2 (Driver version 8.17.12.5896)

CCP. Please post a link to the patch, autopatching does not work.
It's not hard, its easy, it will solve a lot of problems reported here.
Do you want us to play eve? or not? If you don't want us to play, then no sense in paying then is there.
We have reported the issue, so, are you going to give us a link to the patch download or not? I think this "support" from CCP (posting the direct link) will decide whether they are listening to this thread or not.

If its the same issue that existed prior to 1.2 then 1.2 didn't break it and there is no need to report it again. We will get to it and narrow down on where the issue comes from.
We appreciate any bugs you (everyone) report though, better it get reported twice than not at all.

Can-stacking is broken again: Cargo Containers open in the middle of the screen and won't auto-stack.
This had been fixed in the last "optional" patch pre-1.2
Please fix again.

Ok that is interesting, the patch is 15mb on that link, and the autopatch reports 1.6mb download and fails on verification.

Discovered the following bug while shooting a tower:
- When you shoot a target, unlock, then relock before the gun cycles off, then the weapons will continue firing on that target without showing the active icons next to the target. Previously a gun would just automatically cycle off when unlocking a target, regardless of the player relocking that target

When jumping a capital, typically we're used to having extra fuel in cargo and that allowing for a reserve.
It no longer sees the fuel in cargo as a reserve and you now need to have it in the fuel bay.
During an op, some pilots (particularly Amarr) mentioned that they left with more than enough fuel, however when on the field, that fuel had "gone missing".

Tried clearing cache, rebooted client, manually cleared cache, nothing. 2 clients on 2 PC's have same thing. Is it just me ?

Yup.... according to the right-click, it will give me the option to remove them from overview, so they are there, just not listing at all. Point to note... i'm currently in a WH system, wonder if they broke WH's now.

No it wasnt. Each freshly spawned/assembled container is treated as a new one, position used to be saved per container TYPE, not for EACH INDIVIDUAL container. Coder that is supposed to be fixing this never played the game and doesnt understand the difference.
Before Failranis 1.1 You needed to place new convo window ONCE, and every new convo would open in same place. You packaged and stacked ONE GSC and every single GSC you opened after that would automagically stack and open in same place.

"modules status not reset when ship is repackaged" bug number 102553, not even looked at. Started with Failranis 1.1 reproduce: 1
-fit a ship with some modules -repackage the ship -assemble ship -select all modules in hangar -drag them to the fitting screen directly on the ship
2 -get an ibis -unfit the mining laser, leave only the gun -on fitting screen grab the gun and drag it _on the fitting screen but not directly on the gun slot_
both end up with grayed out offlined "this module is already active"
Combat log kills duplication still here, sometimes there are only gray boxes instead of duplicate entries, they "fix" back to duplicate entries when you scroll teh log up and down. EDIT: actually now _instead_ of duplication you get Grayed out entries OR some random entry with random date.
Im not sure about this one, but i think Copy/paste still sometimes is off by 1 char

Work made me stay late, my car broke down on my way home, my computer caught fire, the pizza delivery man was robbed on his way here and all they took was my pizza, I got the ZeroDivision error, my unwed sister is pregnant and my cat died.
I guess this is my comeuppance for gloating, albeit silently about the last six patches patching flawlessly (for me).
(Okay, nothing except the ZeroDivision error happened, but still...) ___

When clicking on someone's name in chat or while docked so that it loads their avatar icon it causes the client to drop from 100fps to 9fps until the tiny thumbnail avatar loads then goes back to 100 fps
tested with clicking on name in evemail, name in chat, name in the list of docked at station and just clicking a name which causes avatar to load makes client drag to a stop nearly down to 5 to 10 fps then it spikes back up to 100.
seriously needs fixing couldnt imagine clicking on someone to open convo or send evemail or mistakingly click a name while doing pvp or mission you'd be screwed as your client grinds to a halt.

I had this problem in the previous patch but a manual download was not an issue. Didn't have that issue this time, patcher downloaded and updated correctly and then a second patch after that.
Hopefully you can find a manual patch to fix this. This issue can be annoying but it doesn't make me wanna stop playing.

Opening the S&I window, Corp Blueprints tab seems to hang the window for me. "Jobs" tab worked fine, when I switched to Corp Blueprints that worked, too, until I opened an office subtab. Then it did hang.
Relogging brings me back to the list of offices, but opening any of them - even if it would not show any BPO - hangs the window again until relog.

Bit more detailed view on one of the EVE mail bugs. Formatting get's up screwed up up to the point where you would just deleted everything and start over....yet again.
To reproduce: 1. Open up any EVE mail in the inbox and click Reply 2. Make the window rather small, so that the width is only let's say 8 words wide. 3. Start typing a very long sentence without pressing enter to get to the next line. 4. The wrapping should automaticly make you start typing on the second line. 5. Now, press Enter and see the magic at work.

First question: Why does CCP rush out "fixes" with out actually fixing the bugs or at least testing for bugs?
A known issue from all the optional Patches as I posted and others and to have one of the Devs respond saying it was being fixed. Nope.. still there and annoying as hell.
Second question: When did the live server become the test server?
BUG When in Planet mode and you warp somewhere, you get all the brackets showing up. Very annoying when the brackets are mixed in with the extractors your trying to reset.
Solution: close PI and re-open.
Though one positive note: At least now PI is not so laggy (reason i never did the optional patches) that when i double click and move the mouse it thinks i clicked on the planet and resets to the cmd center. though it still does occasionally, just not every time

I'm not sure if this is related to the recent patch but it has never happened to me before. I was looking at the map and then hit F10 to bring back the main screen. The client then stopped, went to desktop, then restarted.

I have the same problem right now. S&I window can only be resized, minimized, closed and pinned. Moving, tabs and drop down boxes don't respond. Just stuck on loading corp blueprints tab. Logserver is running. Relogging and reset cache button didn't work for me.

Just seen a respond by CCP Explorer. Please while you taking a look at those wreck windows, please also have a look at the cargo container windows. All freshly jettisoned cargo containers appears at the center of the screen and not where you placed the previous one.

After starting eve.exe after reboot there was a child process named rundll.exe that targeted the Win 7 GameExplorer. This process hanged up and used one core completely. So EVE didn't start. After killing the rundll.exe process eve.exe also died but after starting eve again everything worked but there was a thread created in explorer.exe that runs in gameux.dll all the time and uses one core completely again.
I had the GameExplorer open during patch installation. He asked me to reboot after installation what I did as stated above.

Replaced the install with unpatched client from my 2nd PC, a winXP. Same patchstate as on my other PC (none of the optional patches), tried the autopatch again which used the already downloaded patch, resolved the issue.

64bit apps chew twice as much memory for the same code. Neat eh. I've never been able to justify running 64bit servers due to this.

Adding "Armor Explosive Hardener I" bumps me from 10% to 11% and adding a second "Armor Explosive Hardener I" bumps me from 11% to 12%. I don't know if this is actually affecting real resistances but the fitting gui is messed up.

With Tyrannis 1.0, loading the corp hangar got to be slow (20-30+ seconds). I could live with that - I opened it once while initially setting up my invention jobs and left it open. With 1.1, clicking (and right-clicking) on items in the hangar got *really* slow in 'normal' view. I've tried using search and the other views, but it's still been pretty sluggish.
Now with 1.2, my hangars all appear *empty*, even the divisions without much in them. I think the items are still there, as I can see them via the corporation assets window, I just can't see them via the normal window while I'm docked in that station, even for the hangars with relatively few items.
I've cleared my cache a few times and had someone else check to make sure it wasn't a character/client issue, and they see the same empty hangar divisions.
Has anyone else been having problems like this with large corporate hangars? |

after salvaging wrecks (which do keep positions when opening wrecks that contain loot), the remaining cans still open in the middle of the screen no matter what.
when docking, corp hangar is always closed and I have to click the button on the bottom right tab of station window (it used to be open each time I docked if I had it open when undocking)
whenever I go to my POS labs, each lab window still opens on top of the previous one. Before all this patching nonsense, I could go out there, put all my lab windows side-by-side, and each time I would go back out there, they would open in the proper position.

My MWD on my stabber wouldn't work after an engagement where I was warp scrammed while I docked up.
I understand it doesn't work while I'm scrammed, but it wasn't working afterwards, when I was undocked and in space with no one around, nor after I'd docked/undocked multiple times and changed systems.
It only started working again after I hopped out and back into the ship in station.
A stabber is pretty damn useless the way I had it fit wihout the MWD (yeah, I know I was stupid to have it caught on an undock )

Workaround, Press Ctrl + A then Ctrl + X then Ctrl + V. This will resolve the formatting issue for what is already typed and will allow you to continue typing without you looking like a ****** on the recipients side.

If I open something from the neocom at random times this will move another information window. In station typically be the one with station information/agents and so forth. Right now it moved it and retracted it so it just shows the bar of it, which cannot be expanded again. In space it will typically be my overview, the selected items window and the drone control window. These are often moved off screen so I cannot move them manually back into place. (ctrl+tab doesn't help.) Windows are moved whether pinned or not.
Edit to say that the same can also happen when opening another pilots description.

Now my fitting manager is always trying to load 5x the number of drones that are in my fit into my ship. 5 Hobs 5 Gardes 5 Ogres 4 Bouncers
Actually attempt to load in as 25 Hobs 25 Gardes 6 Ogres 5 Bouncers
Causing my drone bay to be full of just hobgoblins and the slot unavailable message for the rest. This is happening every saved fitting load for me, and even if I empty the drone bay manually first (which was the workaround for the previous partial fitting loading issue since Tyranis)

Same here. Every time I open PI in space (i.e. I open the industry window to get to my colonies), my drone control or current selection window (which are at the right side of my screen, from top to bottom selection, overview, drones) will be moved somewhere else, although they are pinned.
Every convo (unpinned) will open a bit below the chat channels (pinned, lower left corner) and not fully on-screen. Moving of the unpinned windows is not possible before I pin and unpin them first.
All cans open in the middle of the screen.
This is quite annoying, especially the position of selection and drones, because I have a small gap between them and overview, and to get them back without resizing, I have first to minimize the overview window.

64bit apps chew twice as much memory for the same code. Neat eh. I've never been able to justify running 64bit servers due to this.
The eve client is still 32 bit.... and yeah im seeing increased memory usage on the patched client as well

I have a issue that started after the patch.
when I click on a gate and warp to it when I land the jump button isnt highlighted, I have to click the gate again before it highlights and I can click it and jump. It happens at every gate. I never had the problem before the patch.

Dear sirs, I have now tried just about everything to get eve back, online downloader - corrupt, manual downloader - corrupt. Tried both 3 times now, still corrupt. I had to uninstall game as after aplying the patch it worked fine, but after restarting the game, nothing happened, got the start image, then nothing.
So all attempt to make a fresh install has failed.

Eve-Mail is still borked for me :( type a couple of lines, press enter for a new paragraph and it messes everything up and duplicates part of the message. The delete key does the same thing.

1.Afterburner/Microwarp drive/Salvager/other modules are not showing the cycle time correctly. At times the stay lit and do not turn(spin?), untill turned off.
2.Eve-mail Copy-Paste function not functioning properly. Usually misses the first or last 4-5 characters coppied.
Corp hanger window in station does not re-appear as it used to before the patch.(open corp hanger, undock, redock, corp hanger is not open) Directional Scanner does not re-open after undocking. It muct be manually re-oppened everytime I undock.

Auto-patcher for Tyrannis 1.2 barfs with a user32.dll, in the middle of patching files (after it downloaded what's needed). Nothing interesting there, except that the same exact thing happened for Tyrannis 1.1 for my XP SP3. The patch's GUI API calls isn't robust enough for non-exclusive running - i.e. concurrent with Firefox web browsing and other things.
Another Tyrannis 1.1 deja-vu. So with a failed auto-patch, it automatically means you need to run the repir tool. Fortunately, v3.06 worked as it should and I have no patching further issues.
Wreck drop cans (not the wrecks) still reset to the center of the screen, can't be stacked (my god man, fix this long standing issue since 1.1 already!). The S&I corp blueprints viewing stalls/refuse to load. |

Game Mechanics - Targeting Range Problem
Before patch targeting range was as described and worked fine. However now I cannot target anything over 12.9km.
I found this error when mining in a Hulk with 3 t1 strip miners however I later discovered that it is also a problem when trying to haul cans from 70km using an Orca and tractor beam. Must be a general targeting range issue as I cannot lock onto anything over 12.9km.

Windows VISTA, 32-bit, sp2, no optional patches that I'm aware of.
I had this happen on windows 7 64 (windows 7 and vista use the same kernal) I just killed the repair, logged into the game again and it patched correctly. It seems like the patch is not activating the UAC on the first install attempt.

It is likely that one of the resource files is broken in your client if the patcher asked you to run the repair tool, the eve client might be able to run in such a state though, worst case scenario it might crash when it fails to load a missing or broken resource.

Yes, we fixed this issue this afternoon. We switched to a new caching mechanism in Tyrannis 1.2 to improve performance but information on trained skills was inadvertently being cached for 10 years

Yes, there were certain DB jobs that didn't run last midnight that insert identity statistics (date/time identifiers). We fixed this during DT today so this should correct itself next midnight.

Since 1.2 on the Mac client - should I report this in that forum? - trying to exit the game using the apple key-Q hangs the computer and requires a hard reboot to return. The client stays on screen, but no other keys or mouse clicks will work. The client appears to have hung up the connection to the server. Using the esc key and clicking quit game works as it should, just the apple(command) - Q key combo hangs things up. Same problem on both of my iMacs.

I have this thing with NPC wrecks, when a NPC is destroyed the wreck appears to micro warp like 10-15 or 20km in a totally different place...
I installed and re-installed and deleted cache over and over, issue continues.
Anyone having the same problem?

My alliance is under wardec. My corp leaves the alliance, and the corp members get a mail saying that my corp surrendered to the wardeccers. So far everything as expected. However, several NON-corp members ALSO get the SAME mail as the corp members. These are people that were FORMER directors of the corp, but they've left and are now in another corp altogether. Why are they getting this email?

Hi, I noticed this morning when I opened up my training queue, 2 of my lvl 5 skills being listed as lvl 4 again (partially trained). I had trained those skills (caldari cruiser and gallente industrial) up to lvl 5 months ago. It's really bothering me cause I can't fly my iteron anymore, but funny thing is, I still can fly my tengu despite having caldari cruiser skills at lvl 4. Please fix it.

Good point, Victor. I checked, and both of the recipients are currently shareholders. So that might be it, but it's still the only mail dealing with corp issues that's been sent to non-corpies that I've ever seen!

To those who have somme problems with eve.louncher try this if you're running under vista versions:
Right clic on eve.louncher icon and "properties" and clik "run as admin", this should work if you haven't changed your firewall/antivirus security config.
If it does the problem does not commes from somme corrupted file but your system's security config.
Open your firewall config page and then search for "programs" and "exclusion" then add eve.exe to this. Do the samme to your antivirus. Lounch eve and you should be able to run it again normaly.
If your patch as ben corupted anyway when downloaded, run the repairtool after you made these changes to your firewall/antivirus. It should work fine.
Most problems that you'll find running any game under vista and mostly when you download patches is related to firewall/antivirus ports control.
Anyway vista is the "evil" soft ;)

in this specific update, it's simply a transfer of datatype inside sql server from int to bigint so inside application it should be also a simple transfert of datatype.
in python(from googling) it would be a change from int to long and for c++, a change of int to __int64 or long long
so seeing that the memory usage double from this change and since string stay string, graphic stay graphic, etc.
it has to be a leak.

As of the time of this post I am sorry to report that this API issue persists. I have skills that reached level 4 at least 24 hours ago still reported as level 3.

Yeah I just noticed the same problem with EVE Mon and other API accessing applications (EFT and EveBoard) not seeing the correct skills trained.
In the case of Skex he's missing a Lv4 skill and on one alt for example he's currently training Signature focusing 3 even though the system doesn't recognize that Sig Focus 2 has been completed.
Obviously the skill applied correctly in game otherwise the high level skill couldn't train. So it's a rather minor if annoying bug.
oh and restarting EveMon as I've seen suggested elsewhere didn't do anything to change the situation.

i have 3 windows stacked in one. if i change the position of stacked-window-a (while keeping the stack) window b and c wont retain the same position when i open them separately.

Have to open them all over, when in space Hope you guys get it right. Especially the mail-bugs. Would be cool if you included a "Undo" option, in the mail-options. After i droped this item "Secret Garage Coordinates" in Vahunomi system i have frequently the "jamm" log like if somme one was jamming me but no one on the overview, nothing at all.
Tryed to dock/undock log off/log in but it continues.

Hello, I am having troubles recently where I try to scan for cosmic anomilies or signatures. I can scan but as soon as the results come up and I try to check one the game quites and exits. I am running windows 7. This also happens sometimes when I try to view market details on an item when I am in the station or flying around in space.

Since installing the patch I cannot log in. My server status is reported as unknown and I get the message: Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong. TQ cluster pinging and telneting fine. I have windows standart firewall only.

Not sure if this is new but since the update I can now accidentally triple click some things and two windows will open and lock the client. For instance if I click the add bookmark button (IÆm guessing I must hit it a third time in a rush) two add bookmark windows will open and I can only close one of them. The other window I can move around, but cannot close it by clicking on any of the buttons, or using ôenterö, and this window then stays in the foreground and the client wonÆt accept any input on any action and I have to force quite the client.

When using the Assets window i used to be able to go to search tab and enter in string.. Station.
Then all station containers would show with their names..
Now all station containers show but they are all called station container.
Also reports not being able to see blueprint copies max runs through the assets view contents of station containers method.

People....people...people.. Dont worry about CCP not being able to fix a text-editor-issue in 5 patches. You know why?
Because there is soon yet another "free" patch (Incursion) introducing even more bugs and problems than ever before. The issues we are having now will fade away in comparison to the new buggs.
This has been going on for years now. The only difference now is that after Tyrannis, CCP directed more resources towards problemfixing. They just did'nt realize that the people trying to fix all the problems, was the same people that actually made the problems in the first place.
EvE is sooo going downhill i even thought about trying wow.. then i looked at a friend of mine playing it, and lost totally interest in that too.
Minecraft here i come..

Hello, There's something that might help. I tried to telnet TQ clusters and got response from port 3724 only. There is 26000 port in the start.ini file. And I can't login. Does that mean port 26000 closed or something? Is there any way to check or open it?

Once recently I had something similar happen to me. A window I could do nothing with. But the client would let me hit the esc key, and there is an option for "reset window locations". That got me out without having to force quit.

Lost a faction fit Proteus to this bug, got the "Servers don't show anything wrong, so it didn't happen and you can't have your ship back. But be sure to send a bug report with screenshot (which can't be used as evidence since it could have been faked, sorry) of the bug you're reporting so we can try to fix it." Great way to hide behind the policy, CCP!
It's happened to a few of us players in the area, don't know if it's a 0.0 thing but wasn't here before the last release:
Target reads X. Burn to target, takes the right amount of time if it was at X. Try targeting, shooting, looting, setting drones on target, etc., get he "unable to since target is out of range" error or guns mis/missles run out of fuel well within range. Once it's happened in the opposite, where the target stayed locked and drones went to attack way past (over 40km) the point my ship should have lost lock.
Nothing like being way up close and personal with your target only to see "Miss, Miss, Miss, Miss, hit for 20 damage, miss". Biggest difference in range we've seen was a ship at 10 km but error stated it was at 86km away and couldn't be locked. It's intermittent, same target few tries later locked at, lo and behold, 10 km! Then took damage, stopped taking damage, took damage again.

I'm having serious issues with the fitting screen. I've tried swapping some modules out on my carrier (in station) and it ends up with ghosts of the mod I removed. Placing the new mod there appears to work normally, but as soon as I undock I have the ghost mod offlined and cannot online the actual mod sitting there. This happens 100% of the time, I cannot refit any of my ships it seems. I was able to find a work around by going to a friendly POS, refitting there, logging off and then logging back in. At that point it showed the modules fitted and had them online.

Not certain if this has been mentionned, I readed in diagonal.
but since this morning patch, when I link a contract in the chat windows, the cursor doesn't fellow, I need to click again in the chat windows to press enter or type anything after the link.
since I got 3 RF Freighters, I do that move around 75-100 times a days, which is quite annoying!

the mail bug seems to be fixed but i found the petition system caught the mail bug. no idea how long it's been there, don't file petitions often. reference bug report 102181 for reproduction since i can get it to pop the same way. perhaps the new code module wasn't applied to the petition mail system?

IÆve had the same, but as I have reported things in the past and got the æUnable to reproduceÆ reply I canÆt be bothered anymore.
The jump through gate sound following the ship is happening again, but only at random gates (in the Essence, Oursulaert to Pakhshi to Synchelle gates).
Still no æDropÆ sounds when dragging and dropping items and if someone can check I seem to have lost the æClickÆ sounds on the æItem SelectedÆ panel for [Align To], [Warp To] and [Dock], (I always thought there were click sounds there but there are so many changes I can't remember).

New issues with this account after updating.
Modules won't show as active when drag/dropped to fit. When out of station, won't respond to "activate/deactivate" Can't lock target even after timer has gone down, not jammed. Damage does not register on gauges, though alarm sounds.
Tried uninstalling patch. Running filecheck. resetting cache in game. Resetting cache manually by deleting it. reinstalling patch. Everything I think, short of reinstalling client.
I have 3 separate accounts and this is the only one with issues. All running from same instal, I think data on server end may be screwed up. Tried help channel but they've said someone had issue earlier with no resolution.
Please help, thank you.

From where does this naive legend come from that you pay for beta testing? You pay for using a game. Period. You pay for a complex dynamic development process where bugs and issues are normal. Even when there's a test server. The TQ reality looks a bit different.
I agree that the mail bug should be still fixed. Annyoing. But it doesn't ruin the game experience except you use it as your primary mail client :-D But that's beyond our control and paying some bucks per months don't give you the right to claim for ultimate gold support. The game overall works. A lot of player have individual issues and start agressive threads here and don't realize that some bugs are a CCP problem but a lot of issues are a problem by a frakked up Win 7, special hardware, bugged driver ... whatever.
So stay patient and CCP will fix the **** soon(TM).

The mail bug is worse,its now spread to petitions & local &help chat or any & all text input windows. Also theres a probeing bug where you get a singal & warp to it & there is nothing there. Also a bug where you warp to a site in a wormhole (gravametric) kill the sleepers & right after downtime the sameday the site has gone.
What happened to ccp? did you kick all your old programmers and hire (as i see here) "Copy & Paste" programmers??? |

Welp. The perception that we are paying for a beta-class product is effectively promoted when CCP releases new versions with previously-working functionality that either works differently or is severely bugged with little-to-no warning or documentation out of CCP.
Despite what the EULA states for service level / quality guarantees [none], the repeated releases of an entertainment product that lessen the fun quotient because its users are constantly having to find workarounds wear down user patience and good will.
It is not so much ultra gold support for which people are looking. Rather, EVE users are asking for improved project management, game design, coding, testing and product release results from CCP. Those *are* the elements, along with EVE's hosting solution, for which we pay our subscription fees.
It is unreasonable to ask for and expect excellence from those to whom we are paying our hard earned scratch?

known current wh issues...
sig and an occasional anomily retain a ??? when pinned 100%. seems to be predominate in c4 wh's. this ahs finally after 2 months of bug reporting and 50 screen shots been at least acknowledge as a defect. but nothing else.
GRAVAMETRIC SITES in a wormhole disappear at sched and unsched downtimes. WHAT HAPPEN'd to the 3-5 day timer????? petion responce was that this is a "PERK" therefore not an issue of importance//

mail is still broken. Can't link items or systems as it think I've selected different parts of the text to what I have selected. Also occurs in corp bulletins.
Pressing delete and enter when writing a mail still cause random things to happen. Expanding the mail windows sometimes fixes this but random tabs, line breaks and cursor being in a different location to where it looks like.

Once recently I had something similar happen to me. A window I could do nothing with. But the client would let me hit the esc key, and there is an option for "reset window locations". That got me out without having to force quit.[/quote
Hmm, Thanks, but I just had it happen again and I can get to the main menue through the esc key, but the bookmark window stays up over taht too and I can't use the main menue. I can ctrl-Q out though.

After latest patch, restoring a minimized in game browser window resulted in a crash of the game application on two separate occasions.
Event log reported:
Faulting application exefile.exe, version 6.31.2.38691, faulting module ccpbrowserhost.dll, version 6.31.2.40695, fault address 0x0003af0a.
Faulting application exefile.exe, version 6.31.2.38691, faulting module ccpbrowserhost.dll, version 6.31.2.40695, fault address 0x00045ef8.
On neither occasion was I running the logserver, but I'm sure someone else will get this replicated, as it's not nice.

After today's patch:
Bio description desapeard and every time i open that ...window can't change to any other like attributes - standings or else.
It's only related to bio's page, if i don't open that one first everything is normal.
Please do something, my nun's missing me

Whenever I reopen my skill queue window the "overall time counter" re-starts itself and counts down from summed up time of Exhumers lvl 3 (at 0%) and other skill (also at 0%) I have queued after it. But when I close the skill queue window and all the time the "overall counter" has progressed has disappeared and it starts again from the summed up time of 5d 3h 3m 58s.
I'm panicking my ass off, created a petition but no answer. My friends' accounts are fine.

This window cant be resized (just like modify order window) and default size is wrong (too short, used to be expanded with no scrollbars)

Glitches that have been there SINCE THE DAMN OPTIONAL PATCHES STARTED.
It was just fine until they started this crap up... and its still going.

I've been playing this game for almost 2 years now. It was great in the beginning, but CCP are slacking. You people release more patches than Windows. Time for another MMO that actually works. & time to leave this piece of **** game behind.

I'm sorry... I'm a paying customer expecting a service with reasonable quality to come with it.
Sometimes I would like to rename my EVE desktop shortcut to 'EVE Offline'... I'm kidding... I do agree some things should 'work by now', like chat window colors, in game mailing layout etc., but I also agree it does not ruin game experience. I think EVE is of reasonable quality. Any issues with game experience caused by CCP problems are compensated through Petitions. We all know by now your ship will get stuck to close to objects... but that is no difference in real life.
On the other hand, I would like to see more (minor) issues fixed before Incarnation is being launched. I even don't like hole the idea of Sansha Incursions to happen in high sec, I even think I hate it... When I get home, I would like to start my PC, do some mining or a mission, and not to worry I will be dead when I leave a station in high sec. What about starting newbies to die after 2 hour of playing?!

There seems to be a wierd DB-bug concerning fitted items. I havent figured out the detailed conditions, but under certain conditions the location of items gets screwed. This process is related to refitting of ships, namely carrier.
If i refit a carrier and drop the old modules in my carrier corp-hangar, everything seems finely fitted according to the fitting screen. When i leave station the old modules appear inactive in the UI, same in ctrl-F Fitting Screen. When i dock and strip the "old" inactive modules from the ship and drop them into station corp hangar, sonmething really strange happens: The new modules AND the old modules appear in the station hangar, at the same time you can see the old modules disappearing from the carrier corp-hangar ...
I havent figured the exact condition sofar, therfore i filed no bug-report yet. from my personal understanding, this bug is not solely a client side problem but also a server side problem ________________________________________________ Some days i loose, some days the others win ... |

I faced the same issue without undocking the carrier from station.

I have a weird thing with my overview, never happened before the latest patch.

Sometimes when jumping through gates or undocking some of the overview text is darker than the usual white text. Switching between tabs sometimes fixes it, sometimes not. I can't see that it makes a difference, I can still warp to the gates for example by clicking the darker text, but it is weird :)

sounds like variation of my #102553 bug that got finally fixed 2 hotfixes ago, probly while fixing it they broke carriers :) btw that #102553 bug is still "unfiltered" in bug tracking system so its the last bug i filled, either no one read it, or someone read it but decided clicking on assign/open/in progress was too much for him :/

1. Notepad/text problems still not fixed, get all sorts of odd things happen when trying to edit 2. chat text suddenly goes "ITALLICS" 3. leaving station or jumping through gate used to get approx 15% shield red, Now Get approx 40% shield, armor and structure redfor around 10 seconds 4. random problem with activating modules key and mouse. suddenly 1 or 2 guns cannot be fired or module cannot be activated. 5.sometimes takes 2 or 3 clicks to close windows. thats all for now

As reported before - my icons in the Heads Up Display are still always greyed out.
I have no idea what I am clicking on which is a bit of a bother in combat.
This, as I have reported before, didn't happen until I foolishly installed the first optional patch.

So I've just payed for a subscription to EVE Online and for some reason I cannot download the mac .dmg file. It keeps giving me an error every time I mount it. I have tried downloading via Chrome, Safari and Firefox. I have also tried downloading via the console with no success.
I keep getting the same error when trying to mount the dmg file. Someone please help me I want to play EVE again!

medium armor repairers II dont work, i just lost a triple rep myrm with none of my reppers repped a single point of armor, cap got used, reproduced it with a ruptore with 0% armor in fron of a station and a medium armor repairer I, and II, none of these modules work, cap gets used and no armor is repped, petition sent for reimbursement

From the Assets window, you cannot create contracts for items that are in your current system. You can still create contracts for items in other systems. |

You got reimbursed? They finally managed to confirm what I already reported 1.5 years ago and found too hard to reproduce?
Quicky fix for everyone getting the issue. Remove skill, apply, add skill again, apply again.

Within an hour or so of installing the update on thursday my clients started crashing, followed by internet explorer. Now I'm unable to use that computer, not sure if it was the update or just coincidence. I won't know for sure until I get it into the shop. The system it happened on was running vista ultimate (64-bit).

Is the character training a skill? It seems it greys out when the character isn't training. If it is training, run the log server and file a bug report. How to file a bug report and use the log server: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=585921

Using PC, Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit,
Okay um don't know what to say or ask for, I've been playing EVE Online for awhile with mysetup and never before had any issues. I can't seem to figure out what's wrong. When I load up the game it crashes to desktop but is still running. More like it minimized or something and whenever I keep clicking on it to load back up it automatically minimizes again and its kind frustrating because I can't even log in or update to play! Any and all help would be appreciated
P.S. Oh also non EVE related (but guess can be) after running ANY game on the computer, any attempt to run a 2nd one (not at same time... like play Dragon Age for awhile then quit) and then attempt to play same game or another game later causes the entire computer to freeze and I have to force it to shut down >.< if you know what's going on with that or what I should do about that too, THAT too would be appreciated. Don't really recall when this all seem to started happening, maybe when I deleted some unnecessary windows updates, or was messing around with the ATI Catalyst Center because of some graphical problems trying to play another game *sigh* not sure what the hell is going on with my computer anymore.
