I joined EVE back in June 2010, when Tyrannis was out. I understand that much has been done to the game since then in terms of mods and improvements - including graphics and ship models/textures...
...except that it is, for the Raven.
Yes I've checked. The "old" model was hideous, but the current texture mapping isn't great. I just got myself a Raven and bloody hell, my Badger MK II is prettier!
What gives? My Drake (similar size model) doesn't have the same poor low res textures?
Is this a conspiracy to stop the prolification of Raven's? Or was the Raven "upgrade" left to the work experience kid on his final Friday?
On a seroius note though, anyone know when we can expect the next graphical update for the game (and hopefully an overhaul of the texture maps). I heard that CCP will be dropping support for GPUs with less than shader 3.0 support. What treats can we expect, and when?
Since this is the features forum, can I suggest (demand, please) that we have a prettier Raven sometime soon. Thanks.

Its not the design to which he is refering, its the old skin texture.
In my opinion keep the shape of the raven for the most part but use the HD textures that they use on the new scorpion or T3s, infact all the skins need a HD upgrade, or what would be the point in a HD option in display options?
