Does anybody have any links to read about those coalitions? What they are, what they do, what values they follow and so on?

Double Dee Perkone	Posted - 2010.11.08 04:15:00 - [16] the northern coalition is a group of well skilled players in both skill and fire power. basically the cream of the crop. the 'top gun' players of eve online if you will. the southern coalition is pretty much the ** that is left over. in any game, there are winners and there are losers. these are the losers. it is too difficult to keep track of what alliances are part of the sc because right after they get curb stomped by the nc, they reroll new alliances hoping the fairness that was part of their previous alliance does not follow them. this of course never works out as you can see is such alliances like bob, tri and pl to name a few. the sc has also been busted for cheating on many occasions. from use real life money to influence ccp developers to programs that make them not appear in local to the efamouse t20 incident where a developer spaded t2 bpos for them. this is the reason for the csm. to keep tabs on ccp and sc involvement. that is why the majority of the csm is headed by the nc with one representative from the sc and a token guy from high sec. if you are looking for an alliance to join and are not some raving cheater and tremendously butt hurt all the time, then the nc is for you. if you make the mistake of siding with the sc, well, god help you. rest assured we will kick you teeth in and make you watch us back door your mom. no one **s with us. we have dominated the game for as long as i can remember and unless you live under a rock, we are only getting better and better. which is why in assembly hall it is full of bitter butt hurt sc proposals. the choice is yours.

Maybe irony is tough to grasp between different cultures and languages, but clearly this guy is jesting with that russian line.. if it were "everyone hates because they are american" there's nothing wrong with that either. Its only countries nationalities with inferiority complexes or traditionally descriminated against that seem not to be able to take that kind of barb Thrid world countries, or countries traditionally abused or exploited take that sort of thing sensitively. The russians are a proud and advanced people.. poetry, technology, military conquest etc... they're not going to feel hurt by a little barb like that just as I think most of us americans are so self-confident that we could give a flying f if other people don't really appreciate our own ideals. I love other peoples ideas and I don't think we've got any licence to the truth, but I don't really care either if others approve of me though. The next guy calling them cheaters crosses a different line. That cuts at honor, which is something all proud people hold dear.

Southern Coalition doesnt exist Russian coalition is a small coalition in the east, a fraction of the size of NC, however unlike NC they have an insane amount of decent players, very good PvPers and always up for a fight. IT Coalition consists of Fountain / Delve / Period Basis / Querious, another small coalition, decent PvPers, some not very important guy once had dealings with a GM both IT (Bob at the time) and CCP dealt with the cheater. Providence - Smaller coalitions, perfect example of what 0.0 should be like. Catch and surrounding regions - Somewhat contested atm, check back in 3 months to see what is happening here :D

NC=a mutual defence pact originally formed in response to BoB's aggression, now it is essentially a self-perpetuating beast and is likely too strong on its home turf to ever be destroyed. folks claim it posseses 60k odd members, but then again folks claim a lot of things. it has a relatively small core of genuinely good pvpers backed up by an astonishingly large force of what amounts to "militia" who are distinctly average in ability. SC=dead DRF= a bloc of historically very competant and powerful alliances, spawned from the venerable Red Alliance. probably not at its strongest currently, but is certainly a fully capable coalition. gets castigated for macro's and RMT (whether its true or not i refuse to comment on) IT=a 3rd rate powerbloc cooped up in delve and fountain. about the extent of their power projection lately has been to take HED and then gift it to INIT as a token offering of friendship. INIT may or may not be considered part of this bloc depending on who you talk to. if they are they should probably be considered the stronger partner. stainwagon: historically a relatively minor but perversely indestructible powerbloc, recently enhanced somewhat by the addition of previous powerplayers RED overlord and -A- to their numbers (as i understand it) "alliance" blocs: NCDOT=triumvirate mark something or other. they finally got bored of "farming" pure blind so moved south. since the first MAX cmpaign they have been of little real importance, other than making sure MH didnt completely slide into irrelevance via the medium of scaring the incomprehensibly terrible players away from them. PL=raep engines. a considerable force multiplier to whosoever can afford them. recently provided the DRF much assistance in killing ATLAS and routing -A-. currently chastising NC ratting supercaps, amongst other things. psuedoblocs. current provibloc=non invasion treaties abound. only kept from internecine ~goodfites~ by CVA

NC pride themselves on propaganda because other alliances prefer to be all honourable, drones dont even log on these forums so never even read any of the crap, so really cheap lies from NC guess they are still angry about Russians owning them in well everything :P
