The Recruitment Channel Questions -
Question: How do members of your corp make isk in the wormhole?
Answer: There are many ways to make a living. One of the best ways is to clear combat sites with us. You can make anywhere between 200 - 500 million isk in a session depending on how many members in the fleet and how many sites you clear. Other ways people make money are gas harvesting, mining and PI - all of which are exceptional in the wormhole.
Note: Its not about how much isk you can make, but working together with people you like and trust. Teamwork is crucial out here. If you keep that in mind, money happens automatically.

The Recruitment Channel -
Question: Where is your corp based?
Answer: 90% of our corp exists in wormholes. 10% in empire. Some of the members in Empire are in a probationary period before we bring them into our WH training camp. Some just want to be in Empire. Occasionally corp members will leave our bases in the wormhole to go to Empire or 0.0 for some R&R.

Great corp to be in !!! If you are looking for ISK - I made billions in the past couple of month I'm here. If you are looking for PVP - you can always find some in WHs.
but the most important: * Great people to be with. * Flexible hours (people from all TZs).

Question: How important is scanning?
Answer: Its crucial to living out in the wormhole. We ask that all new recruits get their scanning skills up to IV before entering any of our wormhole systems. Imagine a hole goes critical leaving you on the other side of it from our system. Without proper scanning skills and a scanner, you will not be able to scan yourself a route out to empire.

I'm interested in joining. You guys seem like the type of corp I'd be interested in. My question is whether or not you'd let this low sp character in. (< 1 mil)
Just got back into the game to check out Incarna, and I think I'll stick around for a while. Had played from early 2006 to late 2008 when I got bored and put my subscription on hold (CCP apparently deleted my account or something about a year ago..an account with 2 bil isk )
Anyway, I plan on going into a pure combat/support role with this guy over the course of the next couple months, and it'd be nice to have a good group to fly with.

Nihil, less than a million is pretty low. Usually a player with less than a million still is not sure what they want to do in this game. Since your not a new player though, you should put in an application, along with your limited API, TNT 1 will request an interview with you to see what your goals are and where you want to be in Eve. Make sure to let him know a little about yourself when submitting the application.

Why do you play Eve?
Its not really about isk, since its just virtual bs money. Its sure not mission running, man that gets tired fast. I think its because I enjoy logging in and hanging out with the people in this corp. Its more fun doing things together in this game whether its pve, pvp, industry, etc. What keeps this game fresh is the diversity of our corporations members. Incarna hasnt really brought a lot of new content to Eve, but every time I log on there is always something new to do with the Night Crew.

The love you're getting in this thread speaks volumes, so no questions there. But where would I have to live? I just moved my little fleet to a place in Mih I really like... would I have to move to work with you? On another note, me, I'm at over 9 mil SP atm, not a huge amount but fairly focused, specializing in CovOps and Exploration with all scanning-related skills at least at IV.

Thank you for the kind words Kitsune. To answer your question, in empire you could live wherever you please. Different ops are happening all the time, its up to you if you want to move anywhere. Once you get into one of the wormholes, well you would live there. Scanning is a good thing to skill up for, you will need that every day in wormholes. Another thing would be Tech 3 ships, they dont take up a lot of mass and offer decent firepower.
Looking forward to seeing you in the recruitment channel!

The Recruitment Channel -
Question: How important is PVP?
Answer: More and more people every day make the decision to venture into wormhole space, so much so, that its more likely your neighboring system will be occupied than not. The higher the class of wormhole, the less there are, making it also possible to see the same occupants more often. Fitting up some basic PVP ships is a smart thing, especially when there are hostiles in the system. This is something we can help with, using our corp fits, and giving you advice on what to fly. It doesn't take a lot to have basic PVP skills, and its very different than PVE.

I asked a potential recruit today what about our corp appealed to them in their search for a new home. The answer I got was that TNC didn't come off as desperate for new recruits. That we weren't looking for cannon fodder to fill the war effort.
I never thought of it that way, but it makes sense. We are what I consider a laid back corp with the emphasis on the individual. That's not to say we don't work together for a common goal, but every member is important.

I had someone in the recruitment channel say he couldn't talk long because it was against corp rules to subscribe to outside channels unless corp sanctioned.
You won't find silly demands placed on you in the Night Crew to how you play. In fleets you need to follow the FCs instructions, and there are times where we all pitch in to help. Outside of that we believe in letting people make their one choices how the want to play eve.

I've been a member of The Night Crew for about 8 months now. I have really enjoyed my time helping people in Empire and participating in Wormhole dives in my spare time.
Being a student doesn't offer me the time to live in a wormhole permanently, so I appreciate the -Real life comes first- policy the corp has. Also they are virtually no politics in the corp, everyone gets along great and is helpful.
If you are looking for a laid back corp with the opportunities to generate great friends and billions of isk, The Night Crew is where you need to be.

TNC is a corporation focused on life in wormholes, lately it seems more and more people who are just mission runners or industrialists in empire have been coming to the recruitment channel looking to join. They are looking for a laid back corp, low tax rate, and people to hang with when they get on. It makes sense why they come to us.
If this sounds like you, whether you want to live in wormholes or in empire, or just be part of something you believe in, stop by our recruitment channel and see what you think.

There are currently 2500 wormhole systems in Eve and most are apparently populated. When I first started with the Night Crew I remember being seeing people maybe once a week, if that. It was a lot of solitude and running sites. Now every system has someone in it means more than ever it's important to have combat skills in addition to other wormhole needed skills.
When you join TNC we will work with you on what skills you need to enter a wormhole system whether is be combat, scanning, pve or industry.

I've been traveling for almost two months now. Love how understanding our corp is with our RL obligations. I've never felt guilted or stressed because of my life outside Eve.
Today was my first day back into a new wormhole. I'd forgotten how exciting it is. It all came back as soon as I saw our pos. Wow what a set up to, these guys have their **** together, so excited about all the fun were going to have. Hisec mission running was starting to really wear me out!

Haven't seen a recent bump, are you still open to new recruits?
I'm pretty new to EVE (4.5M SP), and I spend pretty much all of my time running Hi-sec missions. I do plan to train for T3 and wormhole ops, but that's a couple of months down the road. In the meantime, I'm looking for a corp to collect my mission taxes.
Too early for me to look for a corp? Should I wait until my skillset will allow me to contribute in a more meaningful way?

Up to now I have been sticking to Tengus in our WHs, but last night we did a Legion fleet, I also got to bring out the Nightmare. We tore through sites in minutes. Within two hours I had earned about 220 million isk. Truth is, what I earned wasn't important, it was so much fun, and I really enjoy the people I fly with, what more could anyone ask?

Just a note, read through the thread for information on joining. One thing I'm seeing a lot lately are below 5m skill point players in our recruitment channel. We have been known to make exceptions on occasion, but our rule is we won't accept anyone under 5 million sps.
We feel that's the mark if a player wants to stick with Eve or not. Also by that time they have tried different things and have a better idea of what they want.

Question: I have friends in empire I want to mission with, will I be able to take time off from wormhole living for some R&R ?
Answer: Happens all the time. We have pilots who take a week off to go to low sec, or empire to just change things up. Its up to you to scan your way out, and be sure to let your CO know your taking time off. If your planning on being out of the wormhole for an extended amount of time we will ask you to take your ships and stuff out, since space in wormhole space is precious.
