The best time to do that would be now right? If i get +4 implants and train learning, memory and int up to lvl 4, that will all be re-embursed on the 12th? essentially giving me the 100% bonus until then. (so if if map out for max learning i could be training with Equivilent +30memory and +20 Inteligence?) Then on the 12th i would get a crap load of SP to distribute and then +12 attributes?

Learning skills will be removed and sp's in learning skills category will go free to use it anywhere. Player will then learn the same speed as having all learning skills on level 5 ? I lost the faith in you. Gone are the times in which planning, organisation and dedication to a long term plan gave those an advantage over the lazy and impatient ones. Where sacrificing the moment would give you the laugh later on. A guy who doesnt play eve knows about learnings. So its impossible that someone stays away from this game cause of that. Every new player who, after recognizing and understanding the learnings, quit the game because of that, wasnt worth it anyway. This is true and you all know it. Shame on you ccp. That was one hell of a wrong descision. But im pretty sure YOU wont regret it. My **ing face the day i realized that your goal is not to create a better game anymore but to make more money.

I thought the announcement was a total change in the Skill leveling system (Which i dont want), not just the specific "Learning Skills" ei: Iron Will, Empathy, etc. duuur

Dont say stuff like that, that is my greatest fear in the gaming industry... though i currently dont have the same opinion as you for EVE, i do see it happening to our other gaming industry heroes.

But the SP you have will 100% be in useful skills, the max 5.4 million in learning will now be in whatever useful skill you want. Then this sucks. Is it better to drive with 277 mph and start at 0 or to start 50 miles ahead and drive at 270 mph? Does it suck because you drive 7 mph less, even though you get to B faster?

I totally agree. I suggest that ccp gives the same ammount of base attributes so that players with all level 5 skills have the same learning speed after the change, not slower speed even if it's a very slightly lower. When the game started there was limited content to train up for so this forced you to take longer to get to the end of the early content either by not training up the learning skills or taking the time to train them up.

I'm one of the few, I know, but I will truly miss it. I will miss the endless, ******ed threads. I will miss the feeling I have gotten so many times after finishing learning on an alt. Ah well... times change.

Characters with 5/5 in learning will be 4 points per attribute worse off in terms of training time, but will have over 5mil SP to reallocate. Seems just about fair enough to me. It just means that from now on, training the REALLY big skills like Capital ships will become alot slower for everybody since you can no longer boost to 5/5 in learning skills.
