Snot Shot Minmatar Privateers Privateer Alliance	Posted - 2010.12.01 19:03:00 - [1] So last night, between epic bombing runs in my Hound over the Torr/EC- gate, I was reading the current status of 0.0 politics on EVE News and have a few questions and notes if you all donÆt mindà NC (RZ/MM/Pets)àà.. After years of giving every Alliance ** about failing to mount a successful attack abroad, NC attempts to show everyone how itÆs done yetà..comes running home with their tail not just between their legs but completely ripped off by the DR Bear. As like most large scale attacks by previous Alliances, they were making some good advances for a while, hell I even killed a DR SBU with them, but the momentum slowed and all of a sudden NC packed up their bags and goes running run home? NC you had your chance to show EVE that you could back up all the you have been throwing aroundàà. and yet it all came back to land on your faceààà..what happened? By the tally I see on the KBs it looks like NC lost more Super Caps on their first solo campaign than all of the MAX campaigns combinedà.wtf. Playtex Legion is the obvious reason for this but what lies beneath the surface of this show in the North? PL, yet again, show us all what kind of mess they can make of someoneÆs house when there is no one home to defend it aka ôrisk free peeVpeeö. PL rolls up in their party bus filled with DR Bear isk, and proceeds to burn down the neighborhood with no one to stop them. Killing NC Supercap after Supercap and pet after pet, PL makes it look easyàà..but we all know itÆs hard workàà.rite? Meanwhile out in Gooney landàà..after being handed the keys to Deklien and snuggling into the NC region as one of RZ/MM larger pets, Goonies decide that they will make a deal with PL not to defend any of RZ/MH assets or pets while the full assault on the DR is going on as long as PL did not hit any Goonie assets located in and around NC space.. Apparently this deal was going well for Goonies until PL said, Goons, and rolled in on them like an NFL team crashing a Special Olympics event. PL proceeded to, yet again, expose Goonies as just a collection of headless chickens making them look like more of a joke than when they lost Delve for not paying the bills. Poor Gooniesààà.I guess itÆs fun being the punch line to every joke PL makes these days right to your faceà.. So here we sit with the following well known TLDR facts: òNC shows all of EVE how now even they cannot attempt a successful campaign away from home when the dog they raised as a pup comes home to in the house. òPL, now more than ever, is making a better living off risk free peeVpee and is not afraid to shove their foot up any previous allys ass as they make isk by the trillions being a Russian pet Alliance. òGoonies who live freely amongst the NC territory, could have helped defend NC space, but chose to let PL burn their house down as Goonies watched. I donÆt know, maybe I am pointing out the obvious issue here but you idiots running the NC and Goons keep feeding the PL monster and it keeps biting your arms and legs off? At what point does the embarrassment get so intolerable that you do something about it? Anywaysàààin before, youÆre an idiot, haters gonna hate, suck more, BFF, umad, and I farted in your Houndà.. You should try to get an alt in PL like many NC people do according to :yaay: and read the bloody Information/Announcements forum from time to time

Kinda makes sense and he makes some excellent points realted to all the meta gaming PL does to support their risk free peeVpee way of life.... My favorite is: "By Shadoo or Shamis own admission, PL's main current power is it's ability to exploit the most exploitable ship in game ATM with SCs. The Super cap kills are random acts of ganking b/c PL has nothing better to do with it's day as a merc. Neither of those are overly impressive. Anyone with enough free time and desire could gank supers regularly. Most people just can't be bothered with the amount of work it typically takes because it's almost never as simple as randomly finding one in a belt/plex. As for EC- goes, this system is the single greatest location to get fights in EVE hands down. Any Corp or Alliance in EVE is guaranteed a fight on the Torrinos gate 23/7 no matter what and you can find the current status of whose on the gate etc when you join Fight Finderàà. Anywaysà..sorry to get you guys all fired up over this thread. From the spheerz post it sounds like PL will be trotting off to some far distant region leaving NC to clean up the mess they made of their region. What will Goonies doàà..just stand there looking dumb as usual? Mittens must have his head in the oven at this point with looking so ineffective as a leader this go aroundà. In the old days Yaay would have an alt in enemy fleets in a covert, hang around with their main fleet then warp from within fleet to anyone he saw ducking off to a SS. With fleet finder it's easier than ever before to then have that alt leave fleet momentarily, gang with his 'main' to give them a warp in, then rejoin the fleet. My personal analysis, for what it's worth, is that the Goon/Test pressure on IT/INIT is a compromise offensive for the NC's interests. Attacking IT and INIT is the only way they can contribute to the NC cause without directly attacking sensitive targets PL and Droners. Attacking IT and INIT allows the 4th bloc (AAA, SE, etc) to take hold, a bloc which is hostile to both the droner bloc and the it/init bloc. People may think that there is a stretch in the causation I've suggested, which is fine, but I'm fairly confident. Furthermore, I would even argue that the goon's/test's offensive on IT and INIT is probably doing more to help the NC's long-term interests than the NC's own current sloppy flailing.

With the power vacuum created by the collapse of Atlas and the retreat of AAA and ROL, there was a very real chance of 2 blocs developing that were neutral towards each other, but hostile to the NC. The development of a 4th bloc hostile to both the IT bloc and the drone bloc is definitely in the NC's long-term strategic interests, and the establishment of that 4th bloc must come at the cost of INIT space. So it's not that INIT matters in and of itself, but its situation does have significant importance on the grand political stage. I'll take this opportunity for a bit of a disclaimer. I really enjoy the political/strategic stuff, and I therefore probably exaggerate its importance and depth just for my own amusement. Most grand changes are probably because some nerd has a falling out with some other nerd and a bunch or spaceships die as a result or some nerd finally gets a girlfriend and his spaceship empire collapses. Normally that doesn't require qualification - it stands on its own merit, however this time I'll go into why. You're confused if you think that Venal is the NC's "house", and Tribute, Tenal, Branch, Vale of the Silent, Geminate, Pure Blind, Deklein, Fade, and now Cloud Ring are the "basement". It would be a pretty cramped house and very spacious basement don't you think? In my time in the north Venal has pretty much always had some hostile force living there. PL used to operate out of X-70 (NPC Pure Blind), and Triumvirate (now NC.) then WN hung around for a while in Venal. So really a more accurate anaolgy is that Venal is the dark end of the garden with the rickity old shed where the grumpy (and usually dangerous) old hobos hang out. Notably X-70 is only a few jumps away from where you like to hang out... might want to try getting there, it would be a big achievement.

Even Majesta Empire, whom is mostly just filled with spies and has contributed the least against PL, is being called out by Morsus Mini who share borders with them. Couple questions and then I will go back to my bizz: 1) Why does Wildly Inappropriate have space in Branch yet help TESTGoon all the time instead helping Razor with Venal? 2) Why is Razor doing all the heavy lifting to rid Venal of PL? Most of the moons are in Morsus Mini sphere of influence so should'nt MM be making more of an effort? 3) WTF is Majestic Empire doing in the fight besides supplying PL with real time intel? As for me hanging out in H-PA, I have to admit that I was looking to *** on a NC Titan KM and was told that PL had a few towers coming out....I even tried to make the 4 jumps to the fight yesterday but alas the node only allowed to me to make 2 jumps in the half hour I tried. Snot Shot Minmatar Privateers Privateer Alliance	Posted - 2011.01.07 17:17:00 - [149] So now that NC has managed to remove PLs ** from their mouth this past week I decided it might be time to wrap this episode up with one last poastà.. Props to PL for sticking around after they has successfully completed their contract with the Russians by derailing NCs first and only campaign they have tried on their own. Getting some epic battles out of the Tech moons seems to be the icing on the cake, even with the loss of multiple SuperCaps... My math has PL way ahead on SuperCap kills and basically the Tech goo paid for any Titan lost so far by PLà..grats.. I was also impressed with PLs handling of the constant local abuse NC spurged while blobbing PL into each POS as it went down. PLs bombing runs were some of the best I had ever seen. Unfortunately I was either on the other side of the POS or in warp to a wreck as the bubble was going down freeing the remaining BS left after the run otherwise I would have mopped up with a late rim shot of my ownà. NC can now put on a fresh set of underwear and head south to help blob with TestGoon, WI, TNT, Fatal, Fidelis, MH, and the rest of the Deklein Coalition Alliances making a push into Fountain. For those of you that follow my bombing runs like football stats of your favorite team, I will be heading down to Fountain to assist the underdog in this fight with a few epic bombing runs of my ownàà..Shrapnel or Scorch?
