would go out and buy it or pay to download it if they released it for pc . so ccp when you gonna release it for the real shooter guys lol. each platform has it merits but this should be avaliable to us pc gamers aswell atleast even if its just for eve subcribers .

Little miffed myself actually, as I was extremely excited to see Eve integrate in such a way until I found out who wil carry the game. I know it may be a dead horse but why the limited access. PC should have been the first choice since everyone on Eve obviously plays on PC. For this matter why PS3 only, xbox is clearly a better choice for shooters out of all the consoles. Actually Xbox is the only choice in terms of shooters.
I hate to say it but not spending a few hundred dollars just to try a game, and you eliminated a huge base of players with that move. Not just that but there is a very large amount of the Eve base who are financially challenged hence plex. |

No PS3, no intention of ever getting a PS3, will never play Dust to Dust 514. Good 'ol EVE Online for me and my accounts. Can I get a partial refund on my subscriptions-I guess not. |

I know I know...here come the trolling from PC fans. But it's true.
And as for it being ps3 exclusive blame xbox for that 10/1 xbox wouldn't let players download it for free.
And the Wii...lol... Nough said.
Beside cross genre with shooter and online mmo, and to top it off cross platform. I just don't get the crying over it. |

So just so I make sure I have this clear, CCP made a PS3 only game that's attached to a game that is computer only? Yeah, screw dust, I hope it dies in a fire for excluding thier fanbase. Dust 514 will implement USB keyboard and mouse controls, who cares what platform it's on. I played Dust yesterday or tried to... and I don't understand why it is PS3 exclusive. You have to deal with an inferior standard control scheme and inferior graphics on consoles. Both of these things bother me so much that I can't enjoy the game like I would like to. You could probably argue that I don't belong to this new target audience. Nonetheless, I see wasted potential in the strategy to go PS3 exclusive and I can't understand the reason not to make the game available to a much greater audience namely the PC and XBox crowd. |

Im confident Dust will find its way to the PC sooner or later. The stronger the connection between EVE and Dust gets, the less possibilities has CCP to separate the games again. Just try to see the PS3 version as an extended Beta. As soon as the next generation of consoles is released and PS3 games are no longer produced, they will have to port it to PC or even integrate it into EVE. The only thing left when EVE and Dust are merged completely is a fast paced fighter simulation with uninterrupted flights between Dust planets and EVE space.  |

If you can shoot a ship in EvE via Dust on a PS3, you could very easily put Dust on a PC and be able to play with PS3 and other PC gamers including still shooting into EvE. Putting it 100% on PS3 was just a way to make more money.. |

It's not on the X-Box due to limitations from Microsoft. (Free updates, connections to other servers, free multiplayer without having to pay microsoft, etc)
It's not on the PC due to them not wanting to cannibalize their player base. (Yet)
As for what makes the market greater: FPS games sell more copies on consoles than they do on PCs. Complain all you want about the hardware, but more people use them to play this kind of game.

Yes..
I dont play fps/internet games with concole. My Xbox360 is used more like monopoly with friends. I actually use it only for NHL/FIFA. Also i think dust shouldnt be tied to EVE aslong its only on PS. Because that gives PS owners chance to affect what happens on TQ. And the guys without PS cant do jack because they dont have PS. So thats not a choice to play dust its privilige for PS owners.
I dont really know how much dust affects TQ as ive only read some stuff about it. But as i cant even try it guess il never know and dust still remains privilige of PS owners..
