You KNOW that picture is fake as I saw you posting in the other thread, but you decided to crosspost a troll instead... Also, the plex credit thing, what did you expect when CCP said they would let people spend plex on vanity items. The whole image is a fake but something like that plex credit system is going to make it into the game 100%, I mean the devs said they wanted to go in that direction... As long as it's only vanity items I really don't care though.

I'm still not entirely convinced the image in question here is fake, because it makes sense in a lot of ways, and all attempts to say it is could just be a cover story. How much plex credit do I get per plex. Assuming some arbitrary standard for how much PC an item costs, I need to get a large enough amount of plex credit for it to be worth while. If I pay $40AU (or however much it is) for a plex, and get only 1-3 things in exchange, thats a pretty expensive cash shop model, and thus not a good thing. In addition, its important for me to be able to spend to zero. If I get, say, 2000 plex credit per plex, and everything costs 750 plex credit, then I will be left with 500 plex credit at the end and nothing to spend it on, requiring me to buy another plex to get that last 1/4 of my moneys worth, not a satisfactory situation. edit: I have this problem with itunes. My itunes account has 95c on it, and nothing on itunes ever costs less then 99c in Australia. I have been so infuriated by discovering this on my first go that I have never purchased anything from the itunes store since. It is a petty tactic to acquire more sales. 2. It depends how CCP implements fashion items. With regards to ship decorations in particular, there are two ways it could be done. Pay to spray the ship, or pay for the decals. If I have to pay twice to put the same decal on two ships, it had better be a cheap decal. Like, almost free. Ships are lost often in eve, and noone will spend a lot of IRL money to decorate a ship they expect to lose. Only flying what you afford to lose extends to your real life wallet as well now. Adopting this method will not get my support, no matter how cheap it costs, I think it is an inappropriate model for eve. On the other hand, you could pay a relatively large amount to buy a specific decoration, permanently. An isk cost to spray it to any and all subsequent ships could potentially be added as an isk sink. But if losing me the ship does not lose me the decoration, then not only might I be inclined to spend more per decoration, I might buy more of them as well. This would be my preferred method of implementation. It all comes down to the fine details, but I do not object to CCP implementing a plex based decoration system. Indeed, I kind of look forward to it. Perhaps its my ego talking, but being able to cruse around in custom painted ships, displaying my in reality non existent opulence, speaks to something very deep within me. Plex direct for painting ships, having certain accessories (plex for pirate shoulder parrots) etc doesnt bother me in the slightest.
