Pretty much any theatre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada would be awesome. Although it'd likely be one of the bigger Cineplex Odeon multiscreen sites === Q u o t e: If the servers aren't up, its not a hotfix. |

Just a little surprised that you could not find a theater in NYC/Manhattan region (which would include Hudson/Bergen counties in NJ).
Reasonable alternatives would be Edison, NJ (Menlo Park Mall) or the Liberty Science Center (IMAX). Considered adding Hoboken to that, but the (lack of) parking there would not stand the strain.
Looked up East Hanover btw (an AMC/Loewes Theater, correct?) and the reviews aren't particularly stellar.
Still planning to go see the movie though - hopefully someplace nearby with a 00:01 showing, as I took that night off.

Tempe Marketplace 16 Address 2000 E. Rio Salado Parkway Suite 1160 Tempe, AZ 85281 480-557-0027
(Loop 101 & Loop 202)
Second most awesome screen ever. The original that they tore down was number one.

Ok I will post my theaters here.
AMC Studio 30, Olathe, Kansas AMC Downtown, Kansas City, Missouri Those two are always full, when ever I go there
--------------
AMC town center 20, Leawood, Kansas Phoenix Theateres, Kansas City, Kansas
The above two have a decent amount regularly.
There is another AMC theater out by the Kansas City airport but I forgot what it is called. If you are wondering why all the AMC theaters, the HQ is in Kansas City, MO

If you could get it at the Palladium IMAX theater in San Antonio, TX. That place is busy as all get out during all hours of operation. Doesn't have to be in the IMAX... but that would be very awesome if you did manage that. EVE in 3D? Heh heh... maybe someday.

Couldn't agree more. You'd get more bang for your buck in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex (cities of Dallas, Plano, Addison, Carrolton, Farmers Branch, Fort Worth) than you're ever going to get in the little podunk cities listed for Texas.
Either way I'm still excited and will likely be traveling to whicever theater I decide is closer to me. Now it's time to go poke my CEO and explain to him in an excited girly voice using a chipmunk accelerator that we need to do a road trip for this.
Edit I looked through the list again and the only city in Texas I see any remote possibility of a response worth the investment of your icelandic ISK is Frisco.. Will update with some suggested theaters soon. - Aidan Patrick |

Its possible that it was cheaper to put ads in those theaters as they are all backwater towns. There is also the possibility of the major cities already having the ad space for tron booked up well before ccp decided to try this marketing avenue. Besides even small backwater towns have nerds with computers so it shouldn't be wasted effort especially if that nerd convinces his other nerd friends to play too.
And yes we are all nerds in eve simply because we are playing as imaginary spaceship captains.

The theaters that should have the best response in terms of density of nerds in the north dallas suburban area will likely be the Stonebriar mall location in Frisco (listed), and Cinemark Legacy on north central expressway in Plano. (not listed). the cinemark theater in allen has always had a barren parking lot when I drive past it, certainly not packed like cinemark legacy, and stonebriar. One more good bet would be the Cinemark Tinseltown on the North Dallas Tollway in Plano. (again, not listed).
and as for these theaters being in "tiny redneck cities", none of which being Dallas, Houston, or Austin, check your map, man. considering the small number of theaters even showing this, and further considering that some states are omitted completely, im pretty sure the suburbs of Dallas, and Houston count. What more do you want? For it to be right next door?
Cinemark Allen 15 in Allen - never seen this one busy, but not a redneck city, will be bypassed to go to stonebriar I think (right down the road - 5-10 minutes tops)
Movies 14 in McKinney - Far north Dallas suburb, with lots of money - not a redneck town but yeah, out of the way
Stonebriar 24 with IMAX in Frisco - The biggest mall in the north dallas area
Tinseltown Movies 17 in grapevine - In Between Dallas and Fort Worth
Cinemark 13 Cypress in Cypress - Map says northwestern Houston suburb
Cinemark 19 in Katy - west houston suburb Cinemark at Market Street in Spring - north houston suburb Katy Mills 20 in Katy - west houston suburb
links to the two theaters in Plano that I suggested Cinemark Legacy Cinemark Tinseltown West Plano |

Completely agree.
How about Houston Clear Lake area - a large NASA center with a bunch of aerospace subcontractors.
Say this place: Cinemark Webster, TX. __

First off, thanks for listing the theaters! :D I couldn't remember the names of all of them lmao. As far as what I want, it's quite simple. I want CCP's advertising dollars to be spent as best as possible to bolster the population of EVE. The theaters you listed are the ones that I think the most geeky populace as you phrased it will be in and thus promote EVE more than the other locations listed. It may only be a 30 second trailer of something recut that I've already seen, but I'd stilld rive for it because well.. I'm a sad little eve fanboi. - Aidan Patrick

Furthermore, the masochistic CCP Hekatonkheires suggests that if you reply in this thread with your preferred theater (and town it's in) for the next effort of this kind should it arise, he will do due diligence to see if he can make it happen.
Every millisecond of the 30 second spot will be on our YouTube page at the same time. It's a recut of the Incursion trailer with a "movie-tastic" voice over guaranteed to make you smirk.
Mesa, Arizona. Prospective theater, Harkins Superstitions Springs 25 http://www.harkinstheatres.com/theatreDetails.aspx?theatreId=4539 . Or Harkins tempe marketplace http://www.harkinstheatres.com/theatreDetails.aspx?theatreId=10506 MOre likely the tempe one since its closest to the major campus of Arizona State University (ASU). A major Tech. University. Maybe even Harkins Arizona Mills, right near Collins College and University of Advancing Technology http://www.harkinstheatres.com/theatreDetails.aspx?theatreId=4523
Hope this is useful.
