CCP The CoD commercial and WoW commercial are two of the best commercials video games have ever had on two of the worst games in existence. Activision's moves have forever turned me off to the CoD franchise and WoW...needs no explanation. The stakes are high as you are obviously attempting to trump these two jobs.
May it be new, may it be epic, may it make its way to commericals across the US and the World within two weeks.

Any way of contacting someone at CCP to request if they can try to get it to one of the theaters closer to some players? If possible, I'd be glad to email the name and info of a few theaters in my area. I know of quite a few current and former players around here as well, so there will be people who know what it is they're seeing.
I was probably going to pass on seeing the new TRON movie, but if I had a chance to see an EVE trailer on the big screen then I would gladly pay the money to go.

Woo I'm like 2 miles away from Movies 14 in Texas. Honestly I am surprised you guys picked that one since its a pretty small and old theater. You're lucky if you get a screen that doesn't have a giant watermark on it from some ******* throwing their drink at it. Still I'll definitely check it out. (although for the premiere I'll settle for nothing less than IMAX 3D)

I'm pretty sure I know how they chose the cities and why there is a limited amount.
They want to test the effectiveness of a MMO advertisements before a movie. What they did is select a sample size of US cities with historically stable rate of new subscribers. After the game trailer plays for a period of time they can gauge how effective it was at drawing new subscribers.
For this reason, if the trailer is a unique one, they will not immediately upload it to youtube as to avoid any confusion of the source of new subscribers.
If this is found to be successful, we can expect a wider roll-out before Scifi titles in the future.

I can't realy speak for other states or countys. But in my state of IL the Places listed are not the best in the state so I'm just going to guess that this is want there promo buget could buy. Med to Low end slots. The Movie slots are not cheap any were in the world. And in USA the working people are geting bleed dry by the rich so this were just probly the cheapest slots CCP could get.
Edit: ok not so much the richs fault there just doing what they have always done. Are Goverment just is not doing the job it was ment to do. Thats as fair as I can be on that.
