Word of advice:
Don't use IBM Blade system, it sucks. IBM spends too much money on "Smarter Planet" advertisement and big heavy unrealistic system like Grid Computing or System Z (WTF) ... Best blade system so far from the view of a CIO is HP Blade Matrix structure, also open for EVE Data Center a better road map of using not just x86 base server, but maybe (at some point in the future moving to a new Tukwila processor for high-end computing.
Seriously, EVE Lag can be greatly improved (reduced) if CCP decide to invest a bit further in the fundamental infrastructure technology, given how much tech-savvy CCP want to appear to be.
Just stop fooling with SMB (yes, I called it Small Business), start thinking like a serious Enterprise.

I don't want to make light of this scorching news, but the new patch must be smokin'. I hope no one gets fired as a result of you all burning the candle at both ends to get incursion done. Obviously this is a hot topic, and there have been many inflamed customers setting the forum ablaze over this malfunction. While I'm sure the incident will spark debate for days to come, let's douse the flamewar before it begins. If we can all just keep our smoldering resentments in line, we'll be firing up the hot new patch and blazing away at NPCs in no time.

WOW well i was hopeing to see more information about the actual issues at hand.... BUT i realy dont know if i can keep my cool sifting through 8 frackin pages of such bad punishment....
Sucks that your server burned... Coming from a tech side of things, I hope/ PRAY that it was under warenty... :)
Nothing worse then haveing your 20k server go boom, other them realiseing that you turned down the extended warenty.

Gee CCP I sure hope your insurance company in real life doesn't say somthing along the lines of perhaps... this:
It seems your server may have strayed too close to a 'cosmic anomaly' or caugh fire due to pilot error, or burned with fire therefore the logs (logically therefore) show nothing, or more honestly - we are an insurance company, you didn't actually expect us to pay on a claim did you? Silly customer how cute.

I have to disagree with that. While I never was a great IBM proponent, I always found their hardware to be as good if not better than anyone else's. Not faulting HP hardware, they as very good too, but ask HP why they are still 2nd fiddle to IBM in the business market.
