Good Fight FA/NORAD/XETIC.
To the brave xCA comrades, t'was an honour to fight with u.
What was important was there was very little lag. VERY LITTLE. I'm not sure if this was to thanks to the manouvering of both fleets within the grid or what. But lag was minimum. The fight consisted of what... 150-200 ships?
Anyways i've said this a lot about fights, but this was probably the best fight i've ever been in. Seriously, mostly due to the lack of lag.
I'm still shaking from adrenaline, so i'll post a run down of the battle later.

It sucks up here, all we get are G logging off all the time we come close to having a fleet battle :/

I still cant believe we won that battle. I dont know the exact numbers but we were SERIOUSLY outnumbered. At one point when they thought we were going to run away they sent in an indy to collect the loot :)
We have between 35 and 40 BS kill mails during the entire battle, i would like to know what the enemy BS killmails are, i dont believe we lost more than 5.
Good fight guys, it was a great battle, one of the most fun i have ever been in :)

Numbers are sketchy on losses on our side, between 5-10 battleship. Were not sure, confirmed 4 so far but ppl log off etc.

The lack of lag this time > * 
Was great fun despite overuse of coverts and ranges very rarely below 100km  It was more equal in numbers when we jumped in than last, we weren't even twice as many. I have no idea how long it lasted...2hrs? Time flies when you have fun
In the end ex-CA were probably 2-3 times as many.

Well that battle was awsome
We logged back on after the failed fight. killed a few bs as they logged back on in reply the FA/XF/Norad fleet return from 4c-B7X. We setup on the gate we had 40 in gang local i think rose to over 150 and the battle started.
The battle raged for about 1.5 hours and involved a lot of moving from spot to spot around the gate. I think we shifted our position about 7 times during the battle.
both side faught very hard but in the end we held the field as Rev said we are still trying to tally our losses i expect it to be in the region 6-10 total for both fights. We estimate the destroyed ships to be in the reigon of 40 battleships from both battles.

What happened to the age old schedule of 8pm Kick Off on a Sunday. A time when I'm not in the pub getting hammered. (RL Women with Boobies > Eve)
It's like lunchtime kick off, it's just not right.
Yet another one I miss :( , Sounds like a great battle though.

Ok he's a short run down from what i can remember.
The following account starts just after the node crash. We log back in the system E9G-MT. Immedialey several XETIC battleships make a run back to empire, or at least in the direction of Empire, unfortunatley for them the xCA fleet had formed and was already camping the gate. Out of the 5 that made the attempt, 1 survived.
Intel then comes that 1L-BHT was full of hostiles. Approximatley 25 battleships (7 scorpions) and a considerable ammount of support craft. The number i wouldn't want to speculate at. The xCA fleet had 15 battleships + around 10 frigates and cruisers.
Local went to 120 odd when the FA fleet jumped in, we had at this point 40-50 in gang. The decision had been made to stay and engage. So long as the lag held.
So the gate shoots off, we are already aware of the covert ops within system. The FA fleet as anticpated immediatley warp off the gate, taking advantge of the disposition of the xCA fleet's lack of support ships.
They warp into a position aproximatley 120km from our fleet and begin engaging. The xCA fleet warps to a new position. Again both sides refuse to go in close.
At this point, i wish i could of taken a screenie. This is not supposed to entice smack or anything, but the xCA were massivley outnumbered. With some of the FA fleet still manouvering to react to the xCA's recent move across the grid all that was visible on my side was a screen of enemy battleships stretched across the screen, with a concentrated blob of purple sqares.
The battle commenses, with the nearest ships being between 60-80km apart. Two perhaps more FA/NORAD battleships go down. But the FA/NORAD fleet is now in position and starts to move in on the xCA fleet. The battle between support craft rages on. The xCA fleet is ordered to a new position and warps, the support craft do their job as every battleship manages to make it out of the grasp of the vast enemy fleet (thought id make it a bit dramatic there :-D).
The FA fleet, rightly anticpating an ambush on one of their flanks re-positions. And again another long range spitting contest commenses. An xCA frigae (me \o/) then makes a pass at the FA flank, the CA fleet follows and the left flank of the FA fleet starts taking hits. The FA fleet reacts quickly, and soon another ranged dog fight commenses. I'm not sure of the losses of the enemy fleet at this point, nor ours (as we don't say anything on ts when we die).
The xCA fleet again repositions once the FA fleet gets to close. It's at this point FA suprises the xCA. They immediatley follow us to our new position, right on top of us. Despite FA's losses they still heavily outnumbered the xCA. At ranges of 10km's a short range slugfest commenced. The CA fleet hit 1 FA battleship before warping out, for no losses (they almost got Dentali).
Once back into position a few stray FA battleships are noticed off the gate. The xCA get in range and begin picking them off. It's at this point a bold decision is made by the xCA commander. Looking at the odds, and the now perhaps dashed morale of the FA fleet, it is ordered to remain in close and fight it out. The FA fleet warps back to the gate to support it's ships being attacked there. Support ships are few and far between. One or two on CA's side remain, and as such despite it being a close fight, bs's managed to get out now and again.
The FA fleet fights bravley, for aproximatley 20 minutes at close range before deciding to warp out for the final time. Nervously the xCA stood in anticpation for one last wave. But it did not come. The enemy were beaten and they warped off.
A few ganks here and there followed, perhaps poor buggers logging back on and going to a gate. A raven and an arma caught in a nearby system.
The ca forces have just finished the clean up operation. It was a fun fight, 11 CA battleships remained after the fight. We ofc lost some, but i cannot give a fair estimate on numbers because as i said early, we don't call on ts when we lose a battleship. We do ask for numbers after the fight, but now and again ppl log off during the fight when they lose a ship. FA losses, well i dunno, it would entice a flame fest if i commented. I'd just like to say tho that there was no lag and their tactics were commendable.

A battle just took place between a very small FA force (2BS, 2 assault frigs, 2 interceptors) against a xCA force in a branch of the NORAD region.
The first wave of xCA: 1 geddon and 1 apoc were destroyed including one pod with no losses sustained to the FA fleet.
The second wave: 2 apocs, 1 runs and the other dies with still no losses to FA forces.
The third wave: 1 mega 1 apoc 2 ravens 1 taranis a cov ops frig a vigil and a thorax... thorax and vigil die, taranis sustains hvy dmg and leaves the area megathron sustains catastrophic(spelling) and the new apoc recieves serious damage.
EDIT: I just recieved information that the mega and apoc did fall in the 3rd wave. TY
FA fleet at this time sustains moderate damage: 1 raven with moderate damage, crow is lost as well as the enyo both pilots warp away safely.
The FA fleet at this time has disengaged due to food needs and being vastly outnumbered(logs off)

wouldnt it of been more wise to say move it through non hostile areas such as pb than attempt to move it through a hostile area and end up getting forced to log off(lol) and then run back up north w/your tails between your legs as fast as possible a few hours later once we stopped camping your logged off fleet. kinda idiotic to fight to make terirtorys your space then not use them. newayz u know where we r, u know we dont log off(cant say the same about u), so why u not here?

Was a great battle and we only had 41 purple dots in the fight no matter the count in gang as it is always off with us. We had a great time and to my peoples I will fight with you anytime.

BTW supremecy hasnt even joined in the fight yet, I can't wait. Means we can fight the blob with more hours to spare when they arrive. Have fun
