Like many others I waited 11 hours, nearly got blown up (structure) and watched the insane spam in local.
Even with these issues, I'm more than happy.
I was fun hanging around with people in chats, attending the congaline, getting smartbombed and seeing others get gifts.
Also Rexxior, congratulations once again. You should sell that thing though, it's quite crap in pvp :)

it's not his fault everyone got crazy and out of control and there was 1200 people... how about you try to give away free ships to 1200 raving lunatics and let me know how it goes before you complain about something that you get for free...
now if your expensive ship got exploded in the conga bombings then that is the risk you took, it is eve, never undock in a ship you aren't willing/prepared to lose

Been here for about 13 hours, had to sleep after hours of conga and domi swarm pre-party since it was nearly 6am, apparently got offered a Stiletto but I was asleep and couldn't claim it :( Thanks for the opportunity Holiday Spirit

Just be glad that some people did get stuff and just accept the fact that you were unlucky. That's what this event was for, not *****ing about how you voluntarily wasted so many hours of your life because you couldn't think of something else to do in the mean time.

I'd be interested in hearing how Holiday Spirit picked people to give ships too.... does he go A to Z or does he look at the time stamp in the chat log to see in what order people said "Hi" to him? I'm pretty sure I was one of the first to say "hi"... at least one of the 750! Kudos for Holiday for the effort and generosity... but as with many others.... it's disappointing to sit in front of the computer all day... getting major wife agro..... and not having anything to show for it except a case of carpul tunnel on my mouse hand from blocking so many spammers in chat.

I had to block 24 pages of people just to see what Holiday Spirit was saying.
All in All it was a fun event even though I didn't get any presents from the Holiday Spirit.  Ah well there is always next year and maybe the clue will be more cryptic.

Thank you all for your well wishes, she is doing fine. She has a severe ear infection. They gave her meds for the pain and to clear it up.
Reading some of these posts, it looks like a few people are disgruntled, as always, but that a lot of people had fun. I personally was in system from 1000 game time to about ten minutes after Mr. Spirit docked, but am glad that I showed up anyways^^ It was a test of my computers rendering capability, if nothing else, and it's good to see that there is at least one event and/or individual that can bring together so many people who are hear for the fun......alright for the free gifts, but still, It's good to know.
Thank you, Holiday Spirit this truly is a kind and noble thing you are doing. May you have many Holidays ahead of you!

I'd like to point out that the majority don't take an issue with what we did or didn't get, but simply that HS didn't live up to his promise.
The thing that makes HS different from the scammers is that he isn't a scammer, he's lived up to his promises in the past and we trust him.
This year's mistake was an easy one to make, it would just be nice if those who waited and got nothing were reimbursed later or something

Well I am ok with not getting any thing but I was told every one will be getting some thing I did not any thing but alack of sleep since I have been loged in for over 14h and in this system for 12h or so. So I fell that I have the right to be a little *****y since I did not an darn thing in all of the time I was here.
Althow lets give a big hand to Holiday Spirit and all of his little helpers for trying to make a fun and a Happy Marry Christmas.

well, didnt get a thing from this, but was still kinda fun. Managed to make a freind or two out of it so it wasnt to bad.
Maybe next year holiday could get soem backing from an alliance or two, but he did a great job nonetheless even when ahving to deal with the greifers and spammers
so thanks a ton anywho Holiday, hope next year goes well ^^
