I've played Eve for a little under a year and have never seen anything like this in any MMO. Amazing! Makes you remember what an incredible game this is! Happy Holidays to all!! Thanks to Holiday Spirit for showing us the fantastic capabilities of this phenomenon called Eve.

Gotta say local is crazy. I'm sitting in the station patiently, blocking, reading, and blocking even more. Might be long asleep before Holiday manages to hit the letter T but it sure was interesting to see so many people bunch up over here, also serious concord presence!

conga lines fun til bombs went off. Ship pieces flew everywhere, ohhh..the carnage.
It was downhill after that. I think the spammers(terrorists) bombed The Maglev, I mean CongaLine.

Local is unbareable now and I keep being disconnected. CCP need to dedicate some resources to the Inoue node
However! Merry Christmas Holiday Spirit and all the other chappies who decided to show up on the forums instead of spam local with begging.
I remember when I started EVE some guy undocked in Arnon jettisoning ships from his orca in a similar event, back then i was too young to board any of them so i reallyhope I get a nice Christmas present today.

Note to self: Have node reinforced for next event. Over 1.1k players. New "Jita" is shaping up to be quite laggy.
PS: If CCP wants to gather some lag data, this might not a bad place to go right now.

i wish people wouldn't be so stupid to not realize that saying 'me' in local isn't going to get them anything... and it scrolls off the top of the chat window rather quickly, even with a couple dozen spammers already blocked
and it would be nice to know what is actually required of those of us patiently waiting...
